Staff wonderful, restaurants, bars and lounges were plentiful and we loved the authentic timber construction and decor throughout the old areas of the hotel. Our only “complaint” was the overwhelming aromatherapy in the lobby, but it was Christmas-time so… to be expected? Overall a perfect location for visiting River Avon and historic Stratford. "

"A pleasant stay at this hotel, we were provided with early check-in and a free upgrade to an executive room. Restaurant food was good and staff were friendly. We found our room fairly hot so had to turn down the radiators. The room had free drinks, which was a bonus."

"Room was clean 10th wedding anniversary gave us a card and vouchers for complimentary drink. Breakfast was brilliant restaurant in even good but a bit stretched staff wise when busy. Beautiful setting where the hotel is a decent distance from beautiful chippen Norton and Bicester village "

"Sarah on front desk was amazing - super helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Room was spacious - beds a little squeaky and walls thin (could hear full convos next door) but wasn’t for long. Little issue with TV not turning off with remote so used wall plug. Bathroom towels were fabulous - amazing size! Loved them. Spa and facilities were a lovely addition. "
