"The Plantation House, is all you could ever want in a Boutique B&B. Style, comfort, unique building, in its own grounds. Lovely pool area with all the usual features. Our room was beautiful decorated, which had two bedrooms adjoined by a lovely bathroom with complementary shower gel to bath salts. Louey & Morris are excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast we had was excellent first time any of us had had German pancakes, freshly made while Louey chatted away from the kitchen. The next time we are in the Austin area we will definitely be staying at their wonderful home. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home. Keith, Carole, Lydia and Jack "

"We'd planned a mini-vacation and found the Hathorne Extended Stay in Pflugerville. Everything was great, except maybe the bed (more later). I called about five days ahead of our stay and requested an upper-floor room. The staff said they'd do their best to accommodate us. And they did - 4th floor just like I'd asked. I didn't know we'd have real breakfast options. During our stay, we enjoyed a variety of dishes, including scrambled eggs, omelets, biscuits & gravy, French toast sticks, sausage links and patties, potatoes, and make-your-own waffles. Plus all the things you usually find at limited breakfast facilities. The facility was very clean, the staff were wonderful and it was convenient to a lot of off-site places to eat nearby. The only complaint was that the bed seemed a little firm and was not very "pillow-like". We still slept well but we've slept on more comfortable hotel beds. If we're ever back in the Pflugerville area we'd definitely book a room at the Hawthorne again."

"The property was exactly as described in the listing and clean. The place was spacious and not overly decorated- tasteful. Thoughtful touches throughout the house - charging stations on the nightstands,  computer monitors in the garage office, and nicely scented plug-in air fresheners. Unlike other vacation home we've stayed,  there were basic spices (more than just salt and pepper) and cling wrap for leftovers. Lots of storage and a large laundry room with a sink and folding table! Had no problem with the low bed but I did get back pain from the mattress. The furniture in the living room were very comfortable. Wifi worked great. Loved the huge yard. Just be careful with the burrs in the grass for little paws. Nights were beautiful with the stars clear and the moon brought. There are cameras at the front entrance (e.g., Ring doorbell) and garage, as expected,  but also in the backyard facing the exits. Checkout requirements were as listed and no new house rules after you pay like some rentals. I was asked to take out the trash bin if I could but not to worry because the host would come by to take it out. When I next checked, the trash bin was returned to its location. The recycle and trash bins were easily accessible and clean. Enjoyed our stay here. Lots to rave about.  Would return if there's availability and try out the garage office (it has a portable window a/c) so my dog can explore the backyard while I worked. "
