"Stayed at Toyoko Inn Cebu for my first few days in the Philippines, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for getting acclimated. The biggest surprise was the breakfast buffet, which was far better than expected with a wide variety of choices and plentiful selections each morning. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room itself was very small and minimalist, and the property feels a little dated in some areas, but everything was functional and comfortable enough for a short stay. One unexpected highlight was the patio area with a great view, which made for a relaxing place to unwind. The location attached to SM J Mall was extremely convenient and made it easy to access food, shopping, transportation, and essentials during those first couple days in Cebu. Overall, a very practical and worthwhile stay with strong value for the price. Airport shuttle included and the breakfast were the highlights! Would stay here again. "

The staff were accommodating and pleasant throughout the stay, which made a positive impression. The room itself is quite spacious, and the air conditioning works well, keeping it comfortable. The bed is generously sized for one person and still manageable for two. There are a few areas for improvement, particularly in room cleanliness. The shower area floor can be a bit slippery, so extra care is needed. On the plus side, the water heater functions properly and provides consistent hot water. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget hotel, especially considering the good location, friendly staff, and comfortable amenities."
