Spacious and comfortable

Lovely spacious cottage with a good sized comfortable couch which we appreciated! Check in and check out was a breeze. Location was a very short walk to cafes and hotel/restaurants. We would definitely stay again! Love that we got chocolates, wine and a cheese with crackers!

Good for a couple, not singles

This would be a good stay for a couple. Good location in the centre of Clare. Clean.a bit cold. Nice surroundings. This is not for two singles, or a couple and a single. It should not be marketed as being for three people. The pvc couch is very hard and uncomfortable and we had to ask for sheets for it. Definitely a couple place. Lots of frozen white bread in the freezer, but close to the market to buy other bread.

Great find!

What a great find for our little weekend away in Clare Valley. The cottage is excellently set up, big rooms and the outside and garden area magnificent. Monica the host is pretty darn awesome. Very friendly and kept in contact before we arrived and helped out with recommendations for local dining as well. It's walking distance to the main street, just literally at the end of the road and around the corner from Mr.Mick's. So you can leave the car at home at night and enjoy the local food and wine that's on offer from the region. As we were leaving Monica was baking some muffins and so we scored a fresh hot muffin straight out of the oven as well. Topped off the weekend beautifully. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

All you could want!

We were absolutely delighted with all aspects of Clarevale Cottage, from the friendly and efficient handling of our booking and the check in process, to the location, cleanliness, decor, and fit out. All perfect and above expectations. Monica and Graham, our hosts, were fantastic, and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We had a lovely restful stay and would highly recommend to any couple wanting a perfect getaway in Clare.

Exceptional property

The landlords have thought of everything! This unit offers privacy, beautiful décor and many special touches, making it a wonderful place for a short stay in Clare. The location is ideal for cycling the Riesling trail and for wandering the main street shops and eateries.
