"We love the 1661 for many reasons and now there is more to love. The addition of the gym and sauna as well as the expanded farm are great additions. The only suggestion I have is to use wd 40 on the doors so that when you close a door it doesn't creak and squeak. The insulation between rooms is minimal and I could hear doors closing and opening all night."

"Room was updated but there were a lot of big bugs and ants crawling the floor. Wifi is terrible. No service on my phone inside. Housekeeping was great! The outdoor pool was wonderful. They are doing a lot of work on the outside. It served my needs and gave my dog and I a safe place to land."

"I feel as if the moto today is pay more and get less but that’s across the board for everything. The room needed a few more towels. I don’t mind not having daily maid service ( and I could ask for it) but please give me more than two towels in the room. We were able to ask for more but then again I paid enough not to have to go get more towels. The breakfast nook was very minimal, which wasn’t a big deal for me but again pay more get less. The coffee was terrible. So weak it didn’t even taste like coffee. Again, pay more get less. On the positive I would go back and recommend the hotel. It was a perfect location! Very friendly staff and very clean. The little things that can mean a lot just weren’t there."
