"Graham was the perfect host. His attention to detail was exceptional. The property looked brand new inside. Amazing facilities, lounge, DVDs, books, coffee machine etc. Great parking and charging for EVs. Good selection for breakfast and delicious home made bread and jams. I’d recommend the Old Manor House and we will be back."
"The room was pretty decent, and large, and the beds were comfortable, but otherwise the whole place was somewhat run down and not by well maintained, with a musty smell throughout, including in the room and bathroom. The place is just OK, at best. They were no staff there, and it was difficult to communicate with them via email, or text, or Expedia, and you may or may not get a reply. Check-in instructions were not adequate and if you show up early, the place, and the adjoining pub, is closed...
"Great staff and a friendly welcome made my one night stay quite enjoyable. The food was great both in the evening and morning especially being sat outside on the terrace next to the River Avon which was a very pleasant experience. It was extremely hot weather during my stay and the current lack of AC made sleeping difficult especially with the large noisy room fan provided. However I understand that AC is due to be installed shortly so I wouldnt hesitate in staying at the hotel again if work...
"Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus !
Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe.
Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code.
Not ideal …....
"My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."
"Beautiful centuries-old property, yet extraordinarily well-renovated and with all modern comforts. Situated in its own quiet grounds, Old Church Farm provided us with a lovely night's rest after a long day of travel. We would definitely visit again."
