This is an excellent property to relax and enjoy Freycinet. Impressive layout and facilities, in a tranquil setting, close to attractions. Would recommend for couples or families.
We had a great stay here for three nights. The property is immaculately clean, large and well situated within a five minute drive to Coles Bay.Two things to note which other guests have mentioned:- the TV wasn’t tuned in so we had to spend a bit of time sorting that out ourselves. It didn’t have ABC or Channel 9 which was annoying as we’d have liked to watch the Australian Open.- the property has no wi-fi which should be a given these days. Wi-fi is important for travellers to do their travel research, bookings, confirmations, local tourist highlights etc. The irony is that there is no paper-based house manual because it’s all via QR code scanning. Not helpful for those who don’t have internet access.Otherwise we had a really good stay!
We’ll presented, comfortable and clean property- plenty of space, nice quiet spot about 4 km from coles bay. Excellent for those with limited mobility - I traveled with elderly parents.
Beautifully presented spacious home in secluded location
The house was extremely comfortable for three couples and had a fully equipped kitchen , from which we were able to prepare all our meals including dinner .
The large living area and dining table allowed us to relax and enjoy the stunning location on the Freycinet Peninsula.
Coles Bay and the National Park were just a short drive away.
Very comfy and spacious. Great location and idea for a group of friends. Although there was suppose to be 4 of us, there was only two. The only disappointment was the tv reception. Apart from that, highly recommend.

Mayakitana Coles Bay
Mayakitana was a lovely house, easily accommodating the six of us. It was well provisioned and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. My only criticism is the strict check in procedure, even though the house was cleaned well before check in time. Other accommodation gave us the code well before we arrived.
Luxury, well designed and appointed house. Front access via steps but also walker access via deck. Everything you could ask for and more. The only thing that could be improved is a few chairs with good back support, maybe a couple of recliners or plastic high back chairs on the deck. I would definitely stay there again.
Great location for a few days in the region. A few things requiring attention but that's part and parcel with renting a property I guess, and I'm sure the owner will address them as they are relatively minor. Overall it worked well for us.

Shocking Customer Service
We found the overall attitude of the local agent to be very inflexible, especially in relation to the check in process where the property was clearly ready to receive us prior to check in but the agents refused entry because of their inflexible and insensitive processes, knowing that we had an infant in tow. A large block of wood fell from the ceiling during a period of high winds narrowly missing my sleeping 9 month old granddaughter. I hate to think who would have taken responsibility if a bad accident had happened. Having said all of that the property was excellent although would benefit from outdoor seating for 6 and possibly an outdoor dining option.

Nice house, disappointing stay, zero flexibility.
The property looked great. Our plan was to play golf at the nearby course, then check in post 3.00pm. However, we could not get on so we arrived over 2 hours early - rang to see if we could check in a tad earlier, was told that we would be let in around 1.30 if possible- eventually got in just on 3 as the cleaners were leaving. When we got in, there were only 2 beds made up. We rented a 3 bedroom house, so we expected to be able to sleep in all bedrooms - as we are all over 60 and one couple sleeps in separate rooms. Consequently, one of our group had 2 days of almost zero sleep. The television had almost nil reception both nights we were there - which was disappointing as we are all NRL supporters and missed both live matches - the first of which on Thursday night we rushed home from dinner to watch. I did report the issue, but was told to retune the channels…which I had already done. There was no wifi which is a very basic facility to provide. There was also an ant issue. We left a packet of biscuits on the kitchen bench and came back to find them ant infested. Overall, very disappointing and frustrating.

The house looked just like the photos and was pretty impressive and once the internet arrives it will make the perfect place to stay in Coles Bay
House tidy, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Staff responsive. 5 minute drive into Coles Bay. Heater on and music playing when we arrived made us feel welcome. Would stay here again.
Property is close & central to everything! Great having aircon that warms up room so quick in the morning chill. I’m sure in winter the added bonus of fireplace would be lovely as well. Nice & quiet away from busy roads. Had everything we needed. There is no clothes dryer but we found the clothes airer was sufficient enough to let clothes dry overnight or while we were out for the day. Lovely relaxing view of golf course from balcony. No dishwasher but that didn’t worry us. Was comfy & clean place to stay in with ample room for us 2 couples. Washing powder supplied. Would definitely use again for accommodation. Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed walking along the pristine beach just a few minutes from the very comfortable spacious house. This house was ideal for our group of 5 adults. Beds were comfy and towels excellent quality. Thank you
