This was a wonderful stay and a wonderful hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and there was a tiny balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard cafe. The location also very convenient to the Hauptbahnhof and good restaurants and bakeries without feeling too busy or crowded. And the service was exceptional. I had to arrive very late, as in the next morning, and the staff not only arranged a special self-checkin to prevent my reservation's being canceled, they remembered when I checked out and asked how everything had went. Very, very recommended.

The hotel is well located, a short walk from the train station. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted and completing the registration process was quick and easy. The hotel room was as I expected it to be. During all of my interactions with the staff, they were friendly, professional and helpful.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast very nice. The only negative was the price was so overly inflated because of the ANUGA food show in town. Also, bring charged for the water in the room seemed unnecessary. Towels could be better.

Great hotel for families & close to Koln Hbf

Great hotel very close to Koln Hbf and the city centre. Our room overlooked a quiet courtyard and was a family room with two separate bedrooms (a very welcome change from the usual double bed and sofa bed in one room that is available at many other hotels). The buffet breakfast had a great selection and the standalone restaurant in the hotel building looked very good although we didn't eat there.

It was such a great experience. Everyone was so attentive, from reception to restaurant. Walkable to main area and safe. Easy to get to from main train station (i recommend walking and not getting 24 day ticket for transport unless you go far) Thank you again!

Spacious and clean

Great location near restaurants and a grocery store. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. Kitchen is very dated but functional. Overall great room for the price and spacious.

Cozy hotel and area, huge rooms!

The hotel was very cozy and the location, too! The rooms are way bigger than most hotels and this price range. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s close to the main station and a few more minutes to the musical theater, cathedral and old town of Cologne. The neighborhood is very quiet, and despite there being construction in front of our room, you barely even notice the sounds from it. Lots of places to eat around the hotel and lots of grocery stores nearby, too.

The hotel was stylish, the room small but well appointed, and the breakfasts excellent, with fresh fruit and good coffee. BUT in our three day stay our room was not cleaned once; our bed was not made nor did we have clean towels. For a hotel of this quality and price, that was not acceptable. The manager tried to excuse it by saying that someone had requested that the room not be cleaned, but that certainly wasn't us. sadly that was my lasting impression.

We visited this hotel for 2 nights in December for a Christmas markets trip with our 2 young children. It is a 10 minute walk from the central station and cathedral and the area is very quiet. We had an early flight and arrived at the hotel very early for check in. Unfortunately our room wasn't ready earlier than the check in time, but the member of staff that we spoke to was so friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where we could go locally. We were able to store our bags for free in the lockers provided. We were really impressed with the room set up. We had a main bedroom and then a separate lounge area. One of the TVs wasn't working unfortunately, but the one that was working had all the apps available for us to use. The hotel provided 2 cot beds for our children, which they found very comfortable. There wasn't any towels in the room when we first arrived, but this was immediately rectified when we asked. We had breakfast included in our stay. The quality and range of things available was great, we all really enjoyed it. One of the members of staff brought over a box of toys for our daughter, which she absolutely loved. Overall a very pleasant stay.
