Customer service was good. I enquired about parking prior to arrival and the staff responded quickly and very helpful. Close to the tram for those wanting to go onto Köln city Center (10 min walk). The room was satisfactory. Nice view of the Rhine. Easy check in and out. Would happily stay again.

A lot of hotel room for a little price.

If you crave perfection...this is not your hotel. This is an older hotel in a spectacular location!! We rented a family suite. It had two bedrooms and a living room and slept 4 adults VERY comfortably. It is not a luxury hotel but it was clean and every request me made was met with cheerful compliance. My only complaint is that the shower is very small...think cruise ship small. It is a 1k walk to the train station to Cologne.

COLD Rooms

The hitel skinps on heating and doesnt turn the heaters on When asked the guy on duty has the audacity to say that in Germany 15 degrees is warm for them So they turn of heating . The night temperatures at this time are very cold and the whole idea of a good sleep is lost when ypu have these bog windows( great view) but lets in so much cold into the room The guy then gave me electric heayer which i think is programmed to work only for a little timso in all I suffered for two nights at the hotel If you are looking for a warm cost bed dont go there If you are ok with a cold bed and also paying 12 euro extra for parki g per night then do visit Otherwise avoid

Das Rheinhotel in Köln-Wesseling ist für den Normalverbraucher vollkommen ungeeignet. Nun hatte ich als Köln-Besucher schon eine Unterkunft in 20 Minuten Stadtbahnentfernung ausgewählt, da wird einem pro Nacht 15€ für die Nutzung des Privatparkplatzes berechnet, weiter entstehen dem Gast morgens 22€ pro Person für das Frühstück an Kosten! Das TV-Angebot besteht nur aus merkwürdigen Privatsendern, ARD wie auch ZDF, alle Dritten-Programme, 3-Sat oder Arte sind nicht zu empfangen! Weiter keine Bluetooth-Funktion im TV, also abends tote Unterhaltungshose... Die Stromleisten im Zimmer sind Fake: nur eine von drei Steckdosen sind aktiv. Von den schlechten Bettmatratzen habe ich enorme Rückenprobleme bekommen, also: alles in allem ein Hotel, welches man in der Regel zweimal besucht: einmal und nie wieder.
