Room was decently big w a nice, isolated kitchenette area. Water pressure wasn't great. Big desk/work area, loveseat in room, luggage holder, built-in dresser w seat, very large closet. No usbc charging, ac plug or usb. Clean, comfortable bedding, most everything's updated nicely, toasty fire pit, pool was ok except heater was 'broken' so it was a little brrrrr, ample parking and decent area. Some highway traffic noise fairly audible. Close to shops, eateries, supermarkets, highways, downtown Columbia area. Mostly recommend the stay.

Breakfast items were great! Parking was very good. I didn't have a problem. On arrival, I wasn't impressed. The lady didn't seem happy and told me to come back in an hour. I came back in an hour and the manager Karem seemed stressed and didn't welcome me or tell me about anything. I had to ask. Anyway, I did get to check in a little early The room is excellent with towels, and bed was very fluffy and had great pillows. I had plenty of room to spread out my things. I didn't know about the fire pit and wish I had known before time to leave. I saw the pool and gym area when walking around which seemed like a great thing if you stayed very long. Again, I had to look because no one said anything about it. All in all a good stay. On leaving, Rick was great and had a great personality. He turned on the fire pit and was very helpful and out going.

The staff were pretty very accommodating. Some were much better than others. I had 3 rooms. The first room didn’t have much hot water or water pressure in the shower and the 2nd didn’t have a bathtub. The place felt rundown to me. They had a pool but it wasn’t very clean. There were no showers or changing room. I wanted to swim really badly one night but a group of girls took over the pool for over 3 hours. The front desk said there was nothing they could do. The breakfast was great.

The front desk staff and housekeeping were amazing. The room was clean but the bathroom sink was literally falling down and the shower was only Luke warm at best. We arrived Tuesday evening and informed Front desk of the issues Wednesday morning before 600 a.m. the sink wasn’t fixed until Thursday afternoon and the shower never was.

Everything was good. Loved the grits for breakfast! Found dirty sock in room and ramen seasoning packets upon entrance. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room once and we were there 6 days. Had to bring our towels down to the front desk to ask for new ones by day four. It was odd no explanation of parking fee, they don’t even ask for your vehicle information so the purpose of a parking fee is strange, didn’t get that until after checking out. Tons of available parking as well.

Fraud alert. This hotel automatically adds $6.00 a day for parking even though it advertises free parking on its web site. I asked for a credit at checkout and was refused. I had 3 rooms since my nephew was graduating from Ft Jackson. 2 room 2 days 1 room 1 day. I was owed $30. Someone is cleaning up with this fraud. I am sure very few people challenge the bogus charge. After an hour on the phone I finally got $12 back on one room. When I was there, the hotel was fully booked. The hotel has over 100 room. I saw a previous rating online and the bogus charge has been going on for over a year.
