Quick Trip

The staff was professional and efficient. The room was comfortable. There was a tissue stuck in the peep hole, the ice bucket was dirt, the seal on the bottom of the door was coming off, and the toilet leaked. The hotel it's self was quiet. The location is good but getting in and out can be tough.

Great place to stay

Polite and funny staff, beds were comfortable and clean, pool was sparkling and warm! Good breakfast selections that were hot and yummy the sausage gravy and biscuits available during our stay were delicious! Plenty of towels in the room extra toilet paper and toiletries available, tea and coffee in room with coffee maker! Would definitely reccomend staying here! Unlike other hotels in the same area the only bugs I saw were outside!

The staff was really friendly and efficient checking us in and out. Everyone was accommodating. The actual rooms could have benefited with better repairs to previous damages and smells. I did like the bedding and pillows.

A bit Run Down

My stay was OK. The hotel is somewhat rundown and more like a Motel with the "hallway" to your room is outside. Traffic noise is loud. Room and bed were generally comfortable and clean but run down and worn out, outdated and rather spartan. Food in the morning was good and the area was tended to well and was clean. The stay was a value proposition as my I was moving my daughter back from USC for the summer and surrounding properties were nearly twice the price for graduation weekend.

Check -in was great, and the desk agent was very friendly, helpful, and has great customer service skills. My tv didn't work, and she quickly moved us to another room. It was a pleasant stay. My only problem:. I was going to have a brief medical procedure, and couldn't eat at the breakfast time. I just got 2 slices of bread to eat on the dive, but was told that i couldn't take it to the room, so i said i was taking it to the car, and was told that was not allowed. What? Who doesn't want you to eat in a room for which you have paid. I just threw it in the trash. Is it better to waste it, thank to much on it to prevent nausea? Shame. I will not stay there again.

Comfortable Bed for the Night

This was my first stay in Columbia, SC. The stay at the quality Inn was a late arrival and an early morning departure. So my stay was pretty much to rest and get up early morning for a meeting. The room was adequate for my needs. I really The bed was very comfortable and there were adequate towels and face clothes in the room,

The name is a misnomer. This property is NOT at the "maingate" of Ft. Jackson. Property was otherwise comfortable and clean. Shower head leaked though.
