    Coming in just under 1000 square feet and built in the early 1900s, this was a "tiny house" before they were cool. This home is one block west of Neil Ave. in historic Victorian Village.

    This home was built around 1910 and sits on a quiet alley, behind a larger (and even older) home. It was likely built to be a guest house for family members of the main house, and was later split off and sold separately.

    Outdoors: The off-street parking spot is great for most cars and SUVs, but is a tight fit for larger vehicles or trucks. The back patio is fully fenced and features a dining table for 6. There is not much of a yard or any grass - just the fenced patio area with the patio table and a small strip of mulch/dirt around the base of a tree.

    First floor: Kitchen, living room, and full bathroom.

    Second floor: Larger bedroom (queen bed) and smaller bedroom (two twin beds).

    Basement: Washer and dryer.

    You'll have private access to the entire home and outdoor patio.

    We usually don't meet our guests in person, but we live nearby and can be available if needed!

    The Short North is home to some of the best restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and night life in the city. This neighborhood draws a healthy blend of graduate students, young professionals, and families.

    Please note: this is a pet-friendly listing, so we do not recommend it for anyone with severe pet allergies.

    The TV does not have cable or any live channels. It only has a Chromecast device that guests can use to play content from your own streaming accounts. This REQUIRES a smartphone or a computer to use. You will sign into your own account on your own device first, and then broadcast the show over to the TV. There are detailed instructions provided in the house. You cannot play anything on the TV without first signing into a streaming service on your own personal device. While this works great for most guests, we wanted to call this out here because Greg from Nebraska didn't like this and was very angry about it.

Excellent and comfortable

Highly recommend this location and house. Its small but has all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay if you and your significant other is looking for a safe comfortable place to stay while here I highly recommend this place its big enough for a couple and 2 kids amd has a private area out back for smoking or chilling again highly recommended

Stayed here for a week for a concert in Cbus. The Cottage was roomy enough for 2 adults & 2 children and was in a convenient location for exploring. Easy access to the highways; we were able to get everywhere we needed quickly. OSU/downtown were only a few minutes away by car. The neighborhood felt safe. Kitchen was cramped, but we opted not to cook during our stay. Plenty of supplies for coffee/tea and a full set of pots/pans. The very small bathroom was located by the back door, no fan, corner shower. It was clean and stocked with plenty of towels and necessary bathroom items. The laundry room was downstairs. The machines were very fast and thorough, so it was extremely convenient to do laundry. Living room was nice and cozy - we spent evenings hanging out and watching shows using the Chromecast (I think this was the device they had). There is no DVD player - just the one casting device. Big dining table for eating or remote work. Beds were surprisingly nice (my sister & I slept in the room with twin beds, while the kids shared the master bedroom). Firm support and no sagging. I slept very well, even the couple nights when I fell asleep on the chaise downstairs. The thermostat kept the house comfortable, though the temperature in the bedrooms was higher than downstairs, an old-house quirk. The AC unit/fan in the rooms helped. Real time communication was slow, but plenty of info was provided in the welcome email. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Wee house

Nice spot to stay for a long weekend in Columbus. Easy to get anywhere and cozy and comfortable when you’re at home base.

The property was cute and lovely location but everything was a little broken. Lamp shades are cracked, chipped plates, melted spatulas, etc. Upstairs where the bedrooms are has a window AC unit but only for one bedroom. The other room was then quite warm. The cleaning service did not have the property ready until an hour after the promised check in time, and they left their supplies throughout the home. Plus side— there were some electrical issues and the owners were very responsive.

A convenient location with good groceries and restaurants within a reasonable distance. Clean. Place felt more like a home rather than a cookie-cutter rental. The furnishings were well thought out (thank you!) and the types and quality of lighting, often overlooked) was good.

Home Team Wins!

We had a great weekend in Columbus. The property was comfortable for my wife and I. It was a clean home and we could tell the owners wanted us to have a great experience. The directions to 'cast' my device onto the smart tv were very helpful. We were able to watch other games too. The location is perfect for getting access to High St. and Neil St. The one note to offer is to know that the restroom is downstairs while the sleeping rooms are upstairs.
