My wife and I stayed here back in May of this year. We only stayed for one night but had a great stay! It was very convenient that we could arrive at any time with the key in a lock box. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean. The only downside was the steep staircase and no lift. We opened our windows at night and could hear the charming Duomo Como bells. The restaurant downstairs is so charming and cozy. We loved the location; it was very safe and quiet at night and a short walk to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment was perfect for our three-night stay. It is in an amazing location right beside the beautiful Duomo, very handy to excellent shopping and just a couple of blocks’ walk from the lake front, ticket office, ferries and funicular. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area. The apartment itself is very comfortable with a spacious, separate double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room for a third person. It is on the 3rd/4th floor (so try not to bring too much heavy luggage!) above a quaint restaurant and has a nice outlook on to the street. The bathroom is small, as you would expect in an inner-city apartment, but it has everything you need. The staff are fantastic to deal with - Elisabetta was always very responsive to our messages and the guy who came to check us out and refresh the apartment for the next guests did all he could to help us try to call a taxi to San Giovanni station. (FYI, in the end, we had to give up and run through town with all our bags to avoid missing our train. It’s usually only a 15-min walk across town, and a really nice walk, too, but we couldn’t get an Uber and there were no cabs at the nearby ‘office’. Como Lago station is really close to the apartment so consider taking a train to/from there if you have a lot to carry. Otherwise, try to book a cab in advance.) Overall, we had an amazing time in Como and loved staying at Le Stanze del Lago! We definitely recommend it.

Très bon séjour

Le logement est exactement comme indiqué sur l’annonce donc pas de mauvaise surprise. Hyper bien placé en plein centre de Côme. La voiture au parking un peu plus loin (5min à pied) permet de laisser sa voiture en sécurité car toute la vieille ville ce fait à pied. Appartement propre et confortable. Il est fait pour y dormir et non pour y passer du temps car situé au dernier étage sous les toits il n’offre que 2 toute petite fenêtres. Mais pour nous c’était parfait car nous ne recherchions pas un appartement où passer nos journées.

Veldig fin leilighet med bra kjøkken plassert akkurat i sentrum. Gangavstand til det meste, feks båtene og toget opp på bergsiden. Effektiv AC. Nedsiden med leiligheten er lydnivået, med vinduene stengt høres det ut som man bor i telt på gaten (som virker være en rolig gate), her må de gjøre noe med isoleringen av vinduene. Det er ikke heller noen utsikt uten man ser rakt inn i nabobygget

Das Zimmer war von der Ausstattung her in Ordnung. Das große Problem war, dass es bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut war und am morgen früh, gegen 05:00 h ging es wieder los. Busse, LKW, Lieferwagen, Motorräder usw. führen vorbei und wir hatten fast das Gefühl sie sind im Zimmer, so laut war es. Wir hatten die 2 Nächte viel zu wenig Schlaf.

Spacious appartement in the heart of Como

Modern, spotless appartement with all the essential commodities. Our host was caring and we were personnaly accompanied to the site from the office. Great for families. In the heart of downtown. All sites are walkable and delicious gelato at Rez de chaussée.

Central Como, close to all transport

1st room we were allocated was up 2 stories with only stair access. This was going to be extremely difficult to lug our bags up to the room. The host was great, although we couldn't change rooms till the next day, she took the bags upstairs for us, and arranged for assistant to take bags to new room( a few streets away). Be aware that the rooms are located on different appartment blocks. Rooms had different level of kitchen appliances, if you are planning to cook yoiraelf
