"Charming as the name indicates. Down an alley off Talit Harb St. Old fashioned open cage elevator. Hotel is on fifth floor. Great for travellers who like the local flavor rather than the "Hilton" feel. Staff speaks English and were very helpful and accomidating. In a typical bustling Cairo neighborhood in downtown Cairo. Walk to Tahrir Square, Egyptian Museum and the Nile. Highly reccomended."

"The staff ( Ahmad, Omar, Saif,…) was really helpful and they did everything they can to make me stay at this hotel when I first got there, now I will stay there every time I go to Cairo, staff are very friendly and doing their best with some limited resources. "

"Good downtown location, just minutes away from Egyptian museum. On the 15th floor of an aging building, with good views.
I stayed in an ensuite room - clean, if not much space. Bathroom looked fairly new and was clean. Balcony doors don't close well and provide poor insulation - a lot of noise coming from outside traffic and a lot of cold in winter. They provided a heater thanks to which I got through the night fine.
Staff are nice even if not all speak English - Radwa does and is very helpful....

"I'm thoroughly impressed with this property's prime location! Despite the language barrier, I had no trouble directing local taxis.
The nearby bus stations made traveling to other parts of the country a breeze. Plus, having the Bank of Egypt right across the road was super convenient for withdrawing cash or exchanging currency.
The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable.

"The room has no internet, bathroom was leaking, we have to use the wiper there was no warm water in the bathroom .Internet only worked in the lobby. There was no kettle and no fridge in our room. Unfortunately we trusted Expedia for rating but it was not true. We paid the premium price. On the good side their breakfast was good, coffee was available in the lobby and the receptionist was helpful."

"I did not like that you can only use the Hotel WiFi at the front desk area.
You do not have access to the Hotel's WiFi in your room.
Everything else is good"

"1. The hotel is not near Ramses Train Station as shown on the map on hotels.com (Google the address listed for correct location)
2. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mould - there had been no attempt to clean it. I’m used to backpacking and budget hotels but this is the worst I’ve ever stayed in.
3. Images of foyer are incorrect (the hotel is being refurbished so the images shown are now a construction site)
4. Completely overpriced for what it is compared to other hotels in Cairo.

"I never leave bad reviews, but I had to say, this was the most horrible stay I ever had and ever will have in Cairo!
The rooms aren’t cleaned at all before your check in!!! The tiles and carpets had dust and dirt everywhere! Never vacuumed! The beddings were dirty and had hairs everywhere on top. The towels were stained and had cigarette butt burn holes. The pillows & mattress were bouncy and unstable, I kept feeling I’d fall off the bed! And on top of all this, the neighborhood had some sort...

"Great stay. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Interesting bathroom setup but everything is clean and staff is willing to fix anything shortly after requested. We spent most of our days out of the room so we didn’t mind the size… which was on the smaller size. I would have liked more counter space. But I really must say that we had a great stay. We made it work. Thank you Paradise Boutique Hotel staff :)"
"Jag bodde en hel vecka på hotellet och provade nästan allt. Första dagen var det lite buller från gatan, men när jag bad om ett rumsbyte gick det snabbt. Personalen var artig och professionell. De hjälpte mig även att ordna en tur till pyramiderna som var mycket väl organiserad. Jag gillade att hotellet behåller den egyptiska charmen men ändå är bekvämt."
"This is the first hotel we stayed in Egypt. We selected this hotel is mostly for its location which is in a walking distance to The Egyptian Museum. Surprisingly, the room is clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We scheduled an early morning visit to the Giza Pyramids and could not wait for the breakfast time. The staff prepared the takeout for us in 10 minutes. We enjoyed the food on the way to the Pyramids. They even provide luggage storage services for free. We stored one of our luggage there. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who are interested living in a traditional area of Cairo, convenient for local food, close to the museum, good service and in a budget."
