"- no ice had to go all the way to the 8th floor for ice - staff wasn’t there to be found - pool wasn’t easily accessible - slow elevators - don’t really understand having to pay to park instead of validation for guest staying - Rude to black people "

"The room was in disrepair and not the cleanest. The pool was small and the hot tub had been filled in. "

"The attendant who checked us in was extremely distracted an introduced himself 3 times and never once made eye contact, The room was clean. The bathroom light was motion activated I believe and turned off every 10-15 SECONDS! The dead bolt would not engage to lock the door and the other security thing that flips over the door was not effective evidently because housekeep came into our room at about 830AM while we were still sleeping!!! There is no excuse for that. I have never felt so unsafe. Plus the entire hallway smelled like someone stood outside our room door smoking pot! The attendant said she would reduce our room charge however I got charged $140 instead of the $79.00 amount they said they would change it to. Needless to say I am very frustrated!"

"Clean room-very clean, but does not have a microwave. Staff-was pleasant, welcomed me, but failed to explain which floor I was on. I did know the room number. Had to come back down the escalator to find out (was my first time staying there). Shops nearby-Mall of America, what more can I say. Plenty of shops and places to eat minutes walking distance from your room. There’s also a IHOP across the street, and a IKEA a Uber drive away. Walmart Neighborhood Market is 1.2 miles away. Air conditioning-only goes up to 76 degrees, but works well. Convince is what you are paying for when you rent these rooms."

"Sadly, we didn't get to use the hot tub due to the closing time and us arriving rather late. We were under the assumption that the indoor hot tub closed at 10:00, but we learned at 7:43 PM that there was no indoor hot tub. Sadly, we didn't arrive until after 5:00PM due to inclimate weather in the Duluth area. We intended to arrive by check-in, but didn't. By the time we had finished eating and were ready to relax for a while, it was too late to make it to the hot tub. That is no fault of the location, just poor timing on our behalf. However, it would be wonderful if the times were made clearer through either Expedia, or the locations official marketing channels. We chose this location almost specifically for the desire to enjoy the hot tub. Also, I was having issues using the Google Chromecast that was built into the TV. I had it on the proper channel (72 or 76, I believe) and could not get it to work. It said it was connected on my phone, but it never loaded any video from any of my streaming services (I tried 6 different ones). Everything else was stellar. We had the guajillo bison water at Ember and Ice which was fantastic. The staff were beyond accommodating. The valet service was great and quick. The bellmen were also beyond helpful. Grateful overall for the comfortable and relaxing environment. 9/10 stars! "
