"Highlights: Enjoyed Donyie, the front desk receptionist/agent, at check In and at various times checking in with our party of 11. Jericho, our waiter at Tiki, was courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and I enjoyed the warm water in the shower. Area of Improvement: I loud noise by the music and people at Hula Bar."

"Nice large single room and outside sheltered deck. Great views of the sea. Very rocky shore so beach walks a bit limited. Not swimmable. Lounge chairs hard, cushions not very good. Handy to Muri, a small supermarket and pub nearby."

The Edgewater Resort & Spa

"We enjoyed our stay here as it was within our price range. The free buffet breakfast consists of fruit, cereal, cakes & muffins, yoghurts and bread for toasting along with tea, coffee and juice. It was fine for us but other people were complaining about having to pay for a cooked breakfast. Its a real family friendly resort with lots of children, so we would get the free shuttle bus to Club Raro , no kids and a pool bar. There is a smell of sewerage at the back of the property but it wasn't in the rooms so didn't bother us. Free beach towels to use daily was a bonus"

"Great space for solo or 2 travelers. Well equipped and safe quiet area. Own transport is a good idea, though beach, market store, and round island bus just over 1 km walk. Great communication from Vaiana and very helpful with requests."

Ikurangi Eco Retreat

Ikurangi Eco Retreat

8/10 Good
"We recently spent a week staying in the cabins and, overall, had a pleasant experience. The surroundings were beautiful, with lovely natural scenery that created a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided good service throughout our stay. The area was generally quiet and calm, making it a great place to unwind. However, there was quite a bit of noise during the night from chickens and dogs, which unfortunately disturbed our sleep on several occasions. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing and did not meet our expectations. The portions were very small, and the overall selection was more limited than we had anticipated. In summary, this is a charming place with beautiful surroundings and good service. However, improvements to the breakfast would make the experience even better."
