"We came for Lalapalooza with our daughters and their friends. The location was nestled in little Italy and absolutely perfect! The owner truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and answered so many questions for me prior and during the visit. The apartment was clean, spacious and well maintained. The kitchen was perfect to make meals before and after the concert for the kids. The WiFi was a strong signal, beds were comfy, and cozy! I can’t say enough great things about John and this apartment. Don’t pass this up! We will definitely be back again for a family trip."
"We were really happy with our experience at the Palmer House. The room was really nice and the hotel was in walking distance to Millennium Park, Grant Park, shopping, etc.
We were dining and a manager came up just to say hi and find out if we were happy (we were). He started talking about how Palmer House invented the brownie and gave us brownies to try (delicious!). This was Lollapalooza weekend and he clearly had a lot to do - he still took the time to give individual attention. Very impressed with the service.
The Lockwood Room is also gorgeous. It’s a great place to grab drinks. (And for coffee addicts like me, there is Starbucks on the property.)
Very happy with our experience - perfect from start to finish. We will be staying here again. "
"This apartment was a great place to stay in chicago. The home was very clean and orderly. Each bedroom had a comfortable bed. 2 bedrooms have a bathroom attached. We did not need to use the kitchen, but it did seem like it had plenty of supplies. The living room was a great place to relax at the end of the day. There was not much parking available near the apartment. We used the Spot hero app to find local parking, which was about a 10 minute walk. This aparment is on the second floor (3 sets of stairs up), which is not listed in the description. This would be good information to know, since we had an elderly person staying with us and it was difficult to get them up stairs. The Check-in process was a little odd. The managment company had some weird questions like who exactly was staying and their ages, which I feel like is a little much. We also had to call when we arrived to have the key fob activated. It would have been better if it was activated at the time we said we would be arriving. There were a couple of safety concerns... The front gate was open, later we found out it was broken and did not lock. We were told to call the company to be able to gain access to the building. We asked if this was needed each time we wanted to enter and were told no and that the fob would give us access. Later we found out the door into the building was just unlocked. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The place was lovely and comfortable. "
