"We had a wonderful one night stay to visit Parris Island for the 60th anniversary of my husband arriving for boot camp. After checking in the stroll to the bayfront was so nice and there were so many choices to dine within walking distance. I absolutely love the historical architecture of the hotel and beautiful town. Any time I can stay off the 4-lane and out of a chain hotel I jump at the chance. This time did not disappoint and I definitely want to return and stay longer next time! We loved the spacious room with the historical touches and especially enjoyed the game room/library and dayroom/dining room with the beautiful dining porches overlooking the lovely gardens."

"We stayed at the OysterCatcher for almost two weeks, I believe. We were in between selling our home in Beaufort and closing on our new home out of state and the house was perfect for what our family of five needed. My husband and I both work from home and we were easily able to set up our workspaces in the office and the small sitting room off the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: pots and pans, utensils, a drink pitcher, panini press, waffle iron! Seriously? It was great to not need anything for our stay that we had packed and in storage. One of the prettiest parks in Beaufort is just a block away, full of a canopy of huge live oaks with tons of Spanish moss. It was a favorite of ours already and we were able to get out on the provided beach cruisers and take a ride to the park and around their gravel trails. If you follow Pigeon Point Road all the way past Emmons, you run into the water where we had the most amazing sunsets!! I wish we had known about this spot while we lived there! Amazing! A great spot for a picnic at sunset. They were very accommodating to our situation and made the stay one of our less stressful experiences of our move. The laundry room was a huge bonus for our family since we were living out of suitcases. Very cute little beach bungalow in Beaufort! Would definitely stay there again if we ever are back in town."

"Beautiful property, If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Rental is clean, we had everything we needed, communication with the owner is easy, seamless check in. Absolutely gorgeous view from the dock. We loved the rental so much, we came back this year. Highly recommended property from someone whose uses VRBO regularly."

"Beautiful place inside and out. The dock/pier were great for hanging out with family and fishing or crabbing. The large dock was covered for getting out of a rain shower and had power outlets and lights. Fantastic sunset views. Host was friendly, flexible and easy to communicate with. We had a great time."

"I booked this home for me and my family for my son’s Boot Camp graduation at Parris Island. This home is absolutely beautiful with everything you need with a bonus of a beautiful backyard view for porch sitting.The accommodations were perfect We had 10 adults and one child. There are only four queen size beds, but they have two very comfortable twin size cots with bedding available. The owners are absolutely wonderful! Very attentive to every need!!!! We loved it there and would have stayed a few more days if we could have. Great food and historical sites to see just within a few miles. Along with grocery very close by. We highly recommend Alvin Ord’s sandwich shop and The Lowcountry Cider Co for your coffee and fresh baked goods! Also check out the Cypress Wetlands just a few miles up the road to see the gators and herons! We will definitely book this home again if ever back in the area!!!!"
