  • Imagine how your vacation attitude will improve once you arrive at Latitude Adjustment as your beach vacation home! Located in the Villages at Ocean Hill community, it is a short walk (1800 feet) to the Tasman Drive beach access. If preferred, you can park in the small neighborhood parking lot just down the street near this beach access too. [Note: no dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

    Beds: 3 King Masters, 1 Queen Jr. Master, 2 Twins, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 14 Towel Sets provided

    TOP LEVEL:
    The Great Room has a large flat-screen TV to enjoy watching your favorite programs or admiring the beautiful views from the wraparound decks with panoramic vistas of the surrounding neighborhood and ocean. The dining area seats 8 and the kitchen bar counter seats 4-8 more persons if needed. The large kitchen is well-stocked and has plenty of counter space for the family “chefs”. A half bath is located near the kitchen. The first of 3 King Master Suites is located on this level with deck access to the back of the house; it has a shower/tub combo in its master bath. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]

    MID LEVEL:
    There are 4 bedrooms on the level: the second King Master Suite has a shower/tub combo for its master bath. Next there's a Queen Jr. Master Suite which has deck access and new furniture. It has a semi-private bath that is shared with the other 2 bedrooms: one bedroom has 2 Twin beds and the other has 2 Bunk Bed Sets for children.

    GROUND LEVEL:
    A large game room is available with a Pool table with a large flat-screen TV. There is a full-size refrigerator available and small kitchenette. Just outdoors, enjoy the large private pool (14' x 26') is available and a hot tub. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles.

    EXTRAS:
    This home is located near the Villages at Ocean community playground, basketball and volleyball courts. There is a limit of 6 rental guests (at this property) who may use this Fitness Center (with a fee) at one time. There is also a fee to use the pickleball/tennis courts which is limited to 6 players at one time. Guests will be provided with ONE parking pass to park at the community amenities and parking lots. The oceanside parking area on offers convenient access to Sharky's, a full-service snack bar with restroom facilities located adjacent to the beach boardwalk. From this location, guests may enjoy beachcombing, sunbathing, swimming, or strolling along the pristine beaches of Corolla.

Beautiful place!

The house is gorgeous! So spacious and very clean. We had a fantastic time. Beach access was easy. Community pool was nice and not crowded at all. Loved our stay.

Loved by all!

This was the perfect place for us. Traveled with a variety of ages. Everyone had their own space and things to keep them busy. The pool was a favorite of everyone. The short, easy walk to the beach was great. The kitchen was stocked with just about everything you could think of as far as appliances and gadgets. It was so easy and enjoyable to prepare meals for a large group. Everything was clean and in great shape. The couches were super comfy. Beds were fine. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Shops, restaurants and grocery very close by. Only thing that was a little annoying was the amount of flies. I think the people before us didn’t take the trash cans out on trash day and the number of flies around was a little overwhelming. All in all it was a great house with a great location and we all absolutely loved it. Already talked about this place for next year!

Family Fun

We had a wonderful week in OBX. This house suited our party of 13 nicely. The hot tub, pool, basketball hoop and pool table were a plus. The driveway was large enough for four vehicles and still had room for basketball and games. The beach was a short walk and driving the beach equipment was convenient and a breeze. The house is a short walk to some shops and restaurants. To get anywhere else it is a drive. The kitchen is very well stocked and the gas grill was a plus. Beware, buy ice as the ice maker in fridge doesn’t produce much. We found some parts of the house needed to be cleaned better. We had to wipe down kitchen counters from leftover spills and guest book was stuck together with syrup. Two of the king bedspreads had visible stains and couches needed to be vacuumed in between cushions. The management was easy to get ahold of if we had any questions or issues.

We had an amazing week in OBX- The house exceeded our expectations! It was super clean and had so many amenities. The pool and hot tub were great to have! The kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed. The beach was truly a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be back and look to stay at Latitude Adjustment!

It was perfectly located between all the shopping and the beach. It was the one of the last neighborhoods before the road ends and you turn onto the beach.

House was great, very spacious, very clean. Only hiccup was with pool maintenance, but was addressed very quickly. Location was great, only 10 minute walk to beach access. There is a parking lot down the street for which a parking lot is provided, which results in a 3 minute walk to the beach, but it does fill up early. Family trip was for 13 people (8 adults, 5 children) and there was enough space for everyone. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing House

The house was everything my large group had hoped for! We each had plenty of space to hang out together or separately. We experienced a small issue with the pool gate one day and the management company was prompt and swift to come and fix it! Otherwise we had zero issues and were delighted to stay at this location! We will be back!

This property was big enough for our family. The layout was very nice and we had plenty of room/space. They provide a lot of kitchenware - everything you can think of or might need, they provide, which was awesome! They provide a lot of pool toys and beach accessories which was awesome as well! We loved the layout and the space of this home! The only downfall was the property was not very clean. Upon arrival it was very dirty on each floor/level - there were crumbs on the kitchen floor (not little spots either, was some big piles) that we had to sweep up. Some of the beds still had sand on the sheets. Overall, I would definitely recommend this space and would definitely stay here again..as we did enjoy this home very much and loved the space and the items that the home provided and also loved how close it was to the beach.

We enjoyed Latitude Adjustment very much. The kitchen was big enough for our large family and very well stocked with everything you can possibly need. One drawback was that the bunk room bed sheets were stained and looked dirty. It grossed out the kids. And in one of the queen bedrooms, the sheets wouldn’t stay on the mattress. Maybe they were too small for the bed. The beach access wasn’t all that great either, but maybe we’re just spoiled from other places we’ve stayed at. The community center and pools weren’t exactly like they made it seem either. You had to pay for entrance into the gym which we thought was quite costly for one hr. And only 6 people were allowed into community pool at a time. But, no worries, we just stayed in the awesome pool and hot tub at the house. All in all we were all very pleased with Latitude Adjustment and may consider it again for our 2027 vacation.

A few Kinks to Work Out

The home I understand is under new owners. I'm sure they are still learning about the property and will hopefully be able to resolve issues. Fuses were easily tripped in the kitchen, when the coffee pot, toaster and an electric griddle were in use. The AC went out on the top floor, but the management company was quick to come out and service it. The pool seemed to be having a filter issue. The management company again was quick to send someone to clean the pool, but it seemed like there was more needed than just a good vacuuming and shock to the pool.

Great Family Time in OBX

We were all very happy with Latitude Adjustment! Very clean with ample space for everyone. Its proximity to the beach and amenities was great! We had a fantastic time relaxing and enjoying all the Corolla had to offer.
