There's an excellent hiking trail throughout the property as well as a guided tour available across the suspension bridge into the park. The rooms are very simple (youth hostel standard) but it is well-kept. The surroundings (lots of birds) are magical and fresh (lovingly-prepared) breakfast and dinner was very good. It is remote (that makes it special) so you do need a car or rely on transport. Highly recommend doing the Green Rivers rafting tour and the Night Tour with Sarapiqui Xperience (all booked via the hotel). "

"Beautiful property right on the river. There are so many beautiful birds and gardens. A sloth hug out in the tree right outside the door. It was never more than 6 meters above the ground. Great closeup interaction. Just after midday a group of 30 plus monkeys slowly passed thru the trees on the riverbank. The host prepared dinner and breakfast and it was delicious. Rooms are very very clean with cold AC. Outdoor kitchen has ample space and a great place to converse with other guests. I took a refreshing swim in the river. Quiet and peaceful. The owners make you feel at home. "
