"Room was very clean, beds were very comfortable. Large soft towels, nice tub for bathing. Fantastic location. Walking distance to most sights, including the funicular and the ferry to cross the river or to the Dom Luis I bridge to walk across. Staff were great at the front desk and in the bar - especially Luis and Ricardo. Didn’t have breakfast, chose to grab food at Alice down the hill but ate at the bar a couple times and the food was better than your average bar food, especially the vegetable soupand the breaded green beans. ."

"As a solo traveler it was a fantastic stay. The common areas and DJ made it really easy to connect with people. The location was really easy to get to just about anything I wanted to do there. The restaurant on site is amazing. Highly recommend you try it atleast once while staying there."
