"The resort is on the river side of the main street, but only 200 metres from the ocean beach. Fine restaurants are in walking distance. There is a beautiful garden with two large swimming pools. Rooms are very clean, nicely and modern furnished. Wifi and TV are excellent. The bathroom is in good style and contains everything necessary. There are a few fixes needed in that the bedside shelf was hanging off on one side and the patio doors didn’t close fully but the value for money is great. The staff really can’t do enough here or at James beach shack. Will definitely be returning "

"Weird stay here. The grounds weren’t very nicely kept and the ‘deluxe hut’ was far from that. I had the room closest to the bar so it was very noisy because of the loud TV and kids running around the restaurant, not a deluxe experience at all considering the electric, AC and water kept turning off too and I had to ask for it turned back on. It being near the beach is the main advantage but there’s no sun loungers or deck chairs as advertised and the staff aren’t very helpful when trying to...

"The staff are attentive, kind and helpful. The location is great - on a marvellous beach. The area has a plethora of good restaurants and yoga places. The hotel was clean. They were renovating the hotel when we were there, but we hardly noticed it. The electricity supply was not entirely stable, so be careful if you have important online meetings. It can be a bit noisy at night, but that's part of the atmosphere. I hope to get the chance to visit again. Warm recommendations from here. "
