I love the property due to the fact that it’s nestled in amongst beautiful palm trees and they have a lovely cooling pool too. The rooms are very spacious which is great when sharing a room with someone else.

The Villa Blanca Gardens is my three-star go to in Cozumel, and I have been there many times. It is away from the hustle and bustle and overcrowding of downtown when cruise ships come in and is generally unaffected by boat tourism. Many folks stay here for the dive, snorkeling and other activities that are available just across the street in front of the facility. One of the best parts is the beautiful garden that is the center of the surrounding rooms. Some good dining opportunities are within walking distance and the on-site Stingray bar & grill is ok for drinks and a quick bite. However, it is too far to walk to the main shopping areas down town, but it is closer than the all-inclusives further south along the West Coast. A great place to truly relax. I call the Via Blanca "my garden Villa get away' that helps me reset mind and body from my busy life back home. If you didn't want/need the all you can eat and drink crowded scene of the all inclusives, the VB is a good budget option.

This property was a nice place to stay. I stayed here once before In 2001 and it has grown a lot since then. It has a nice swimming pool and is across the road from the beach where are you can snorkel or book scuba diving in trips. The property offers free Wi-Fi and cable TV in Spanish.

Older property that has been well cared for. Quiet and peaceful, friendly staff, and beautiful landscaped areas. The restaurant is currently closed but they have coffee, tea and water out for the guests every morning. We really enjoyed this older hotel!

Great Place for Ironman and All

Our room was perfect for the two of us and within walking distance of many amazing restaurants, small shops, diving rentals, and downtown. Even though the hotel was older than some of the bigger resorts, it was much quieter and laid back than the bigger places. We were there for Ironman Cozumel and the hotel was a perfect place to watch your athlete on the bike course then walk to downtown to support them on the run.

This was my backup choice. The hotel I wanted to book was blue angel cause I booked to learn PADI there. Good place to stay, safe and quiet. Walkable distance to blue angel Their breakfast was good though. Love their omelet

This is a nice outdoorsy property. Very clean. It's for people who know Cozumel and don't want to spend a fortune on accommodation but just want a nice clean, quiet comfortable place to stay with a nice pool and walking distance to activities and food. Half-sized fridges or larger in each room with modern TV.

Very quiet resort with a very spacious and comfortable room. Always felt safe when enjoying the property at night or walking to somewhere else downtown. Cabs are always driving by and you can take one downtown for $8. The staff was friendly and tentative. The only downside would be that it’s not directly on a beach. That being said the beach is right across the street. Very easily accessible. Can’t wait to stay here again!

The grounds were well kept. It was like a tropical garden everywhere you looked. The staff was very welcoming. Our room was like being in a tropical forest on three sides. The air conditioner was nice and cold. Bed was hard as is typical in Mexico. Its a older hotel with a lot of charm. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Cozumel...
