"We had the best time at this cabin at Alpina Lake Resort. My kids had a long weekend off so we decided to try a new getaway spot. The cabin was perfect for my family woth two kids 5 and 10 and my sister also stayed with us. The cabin was so nice to have two living areas and the deck plus plenty of bedrooms. It was a wonderful weekend. We tried a lot of the Resort amenities the beach, playground, fishing, mini-golf, swimming multiple times. I liked it so much that we booked it again for next October! "

"Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. The listing states it has one bathroom and photos show two. In reality, there are three full bathrooms! All on rhe first floor. Spacious house with everything you need. Being a log cabun, the living room is quite dark inside. There are a lot of lamps, but still dark. Also, there are no railings on the stairs to the second floor. The front porch railings are lose, too. So, not siutable for young children or older folks with mobility issues. Overall though, it was great. Sitting on rhe porch was the highlight. "

"The place was well taken care of. The owner thought of everything. When you walk in the laundry is right there. They had toys for the kids and board games to keep the kids entertained .Any problems or questions we had were answered very quickly. We could not be happier with our stay. "

"The cabin in the woods was exactly as advertised. A very well kept, secluded property away from the hustle. We very much enjoyed the close proximity to Deep Creek and the surrounding areas. Friendsville is a great little town to visit also. We need a break and this weekend have it to us. "
