  • Peacefully tucked away within the Devonshire countryside and set in an idyllic rural location, this simply charming barn conversion has been lovingly furnished to assure a peaceful stay. Set overlooking a valley with the River Taw a short walk away, the surrounding countryside is ideal for spotting local wildlife. For fishing enthusiasts, the owners have fly fishing rights on the River Taw. For those looking for an adventure during their stay, then you must discover Exmoor in the north with its moorland, woodland, rivers and coast, or head south to Dartmoor which is renowned for its changing landscape, stunning views, deep wooded valleys with fast flowing rivers and rugged, wide open spaces. Located nearby is the train line, so, enjoy a day trip out on the train to the cathedral city of Exeter, which combines high street shopping with places of interest such as the Roman wall and the ancient cathedral. For those looking for the coast you have plenty to choose from, to the north you have the beautiful village of Croyde which offers a sandy beach and to the south you have the dramatic red cliffs of Sidmouth.

    As you arrive at this remarkable barn conversion take a moment to enjoy the spectacular surroundings on offer. Once you have entered the barn the entrance hall is the perfect spot to kick off your walking boots, dry off your four legged friend's paws and hang your coats. To your left is the kitchen, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and French doors, allowing you to pull back the doors and enjoy the evening sun whilst enjoy your supper. Across the hall is the delightful lounge, beautifully furnished allowing you to sit back and relax in front of the Smart TV, so you can watch your favourite TV programme or relax in the comfortable sofas and enjoy a good catch up with friends. After a long day of exploring, head up the stairs where you will find two charming bedrooms, which offer one double and one twin zip-and-link (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request). Also, on this floor you will find the bathroom which consists of a shower over bath and WC.

    Venture outside where the whole family can enjoy the enclosed garden area with wire mesh on the fencing. There is a patio area with garden furniture and a lawn area with views across the valley.
