"The Hotel is old and it shows it in many ways. It obviously used to be a first class operation, but it has been allowed to run down. There is some renovation activity going but it hadn't reached our room yet. On the other hand, the Breakfast was excellent. One of the best I have ever had."

"The Quality Inn in Cortez is a decent hotel, but definitely older. They've done as good a job as they can with keeping it semi-updated, clean, etc. but if you're looking for a newer more modern place to stay... this is probably not the best choice. With that being said, it is arguably a great value for the money. They seem to have the lowest rates in Cortez for a name brand hotel, the staff is great, and the breakfast is always good and well maintained."

"My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. It was peaceful, and felt like a cozy home environment. The staff is amazing and they were helpful, kind and very welcoming."

"We checked in late, signage was helpful to lead me to kiosk to get my room key. Room was okay, shower still had soap remains on glass near the bottom. Front door frame had a bit of a gap that let cold air in. Luckily i was traveling with my brother so i felt safe but other wise probably wouldn't. Towels weren't as clean and noticed some had makeup residuals. Continental breakfast was kind of hidden, food choice wasn't the best but for the price i get it."

"Our stay in Cortez at Jeff’s place couldn’t have been better. The house is roomy, comfortable and charming. Jeff has gone out of his way to anticipate any needs his guests may have. There are games, books, movies, stuffies for little ones, coffee, tea… The location is perfect for exploring all the area has to offer as well as great restaurants. Jeff went above and beyond as we got a flat tire and needed to stay an additional night. He was very accommodating to adding another night even offering to drive us for groceries if needed. If we travel to Cortez again, we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for being a great host!"
