It is the perfect retreat ideally situated on a acreage bordering a nature conservatory with foot access. Close to hiking, atving, hunting, rock climbing, golfing, skiing, and snowmobiling. Riverside cabin is a rustic cabin, modern but decorated in vintage furniture and antiques. Castle Mountain Ski resort is located 40 km from the cabin.

We had a great time in this cabin with our family. Very spacious and I liked that there was a washroom on each floor. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. Nice taking a hot shower and their water is very clean well water. We were looking forward to using the firepit but it was too windy. And I couldn't seem to turn the electric fireplace on even after following the instructions.

Riverside Cabin was a great getaway, very clean, well supplied with kitchen and cooking essentials with a short walk to the Crowsnest River for fly fishing and a short drive to Lee Lake for paddle boarding. The host was great, always very quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had.

Private get away.

The cabin has everything you need. The wrap around deck with seating on all sides is a great place to enjoy the views and sunset. The firepit area is such an interesting location. The cabin is centrally located but not really river side. We will stay here again next time we are in the area. We had problems with the door lock but Janice responded quickly and everything was fixed. The water in the hot tub was clean, clear and not overly treated with chemicals.

Couples (fishing) retreat

Great experience. Amenities as described. Fire pit area is good for a communal experience, it is in a book against the rear rock wall and is it a nicely insulated from wind and road noise. Pond and river access within minutes. Host is very attentive. A fair number of cleaning expectations but it is definitely a property thats worthy of preserving for many to enjoy.

60th birthday present

The stay was quite nice and our family was excited to see the location once we found it as goggle maps initially took us to the Lunbreck landfill. Thankful the owner had additional instructions in the agreement that I had no way to sign but generously agreed to a statement I made via online chat. The downstairs are next to hot tub was chilly while upstairs loft was very warm. The TV was a challenge to navigate with most of channels unavailable and additional TV downstairs only had power and could not watch anything. Tastefully decorated and unique but more window coverings would been appreciated but by no means a deal breaker. Thanks very much the owners have a lovely property. We will be back.

Amazing cabin in a scenic setting

Can’t say enough great things about this beautiful cabin in Crowsnest! Private, quiet and amazing scenery. The cabin is stocked with all the amenities you need and more! The hot tub is a great addition, which was nice at the end of the day in winter! I highly recommend this cabin and note that Janice is a great host with quick communication. We will be back!

Amazing stay!

We stayed here 3 nights for a ski trip at Castle Mountain. The location was beautiful and the cabin just as its pictured. Very roomy for our family and everything was clean and the hot tub was lovely! Communication was easy and we had no trouble with entry. I wish we could have stayed longer! The area is gorgeous and there is a grocery store within about 15 minutes or so.

Thanks for hosting our group. The beautiful cabin was perfect with all the features advertised. Although we had 8 adults and doubled up where possible in doubles and queen beds, (the unit is supposed to sleep 12) there were fewer beds than expected. We did fine with 8. I would highly recommend the hosts and the facility.

A Perfect Place to End a Day!

The beautiful cabin is tucked away just a few minutes from the main highway. It was very clean and well supplied. A short walk to us to the river. It has a delightful fire pit in a hollow against the rock face behind the cabin that we used every evening to unwind and discuss the day while star gazing. Once the evening really cooled off, we would jump into the hot tub and finish our evening with a soak. We couldn’t be happier with rental and the host replied quickly to any questions we had.
