Red Mountain Suite 1 mile to Sequoia Natl Park!

Red Mountain Suite 1 mile to Sequoia Natl Park!

10/10 Excellent
"Everything at the Rose Retreat was exactly as expected - a location less than a mile away from Sequoia’s Ash Mountain entrance, and only 12-15 min away from Three Rivers dining, shops and markets. The stay itself was calm and serene, really setting the scene for anyone looking to stay close to the parks. Perfect amount of space for 2 people, with well working HVAC unit, WiFi, smart TV, and comfortable bedding. There’s 2 units next to each other so if you’re lucky and traveling as a group of 4, you may be able to coordinate both bookings. Otherwise, we didn’t really hear the other guests and the parking was simple and hassle free. The Rose’s sent all unit information in advance and did an amazing job accommodating our stay. Will recommend to anyone I know looking to visit the area!"

"Location to park entrance, local restaurants, and beautiful scenery was fantastic. Room was clean, A/C worked well (at 101 degrees outside), and once we figured out the secret decoder ring to get the TV & satellite to work, we had a great experience."

Riverfront North Fork Kaweah - 1500 Ft of your own river!

Riverfront North Fork Kaweah - 1500 Ft of your own river!

8/10 Good
"Quiet, secluded vrbo rental. House has a classic mid 50s design that I found charming. The view from living room or river side bedroom are both very nice with the wall of windows looking out onto the beautiful natural vegetation and river. You could hear the rushing river at all times outdoor even though the river was somewhat lower being as it was late September early October during our stay. The location is about a ten minute drive from the main road in Three Rivers making the property feel very secluded. The bed in the river side bedroom was very comfortable. The house comes with many welcome extras like coolers, water floats for river, rechargeable lanterns, flashlight, spices, assortment of aluminum foil, saran wrap, extension cords, junk drawer with items you frequently need. Central air worked very quickly to cool the house. Extensive selection of DVD movies if interested. Very good wifi internet connection. Very good lighting outdoors in the evenings. Comfortable cushioned seating on riverside porch.Couple of negatives, 1. Would like to have had a water filter on the kitchen sink to have at least one drinkable water source. 2. Would suggest light switches were labeled as frequently switches appeared non functional or at least confusing. Would not hesitate to book property again."

"This vacation home was truly magical! Every detail was so well thought out and perfect ! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The view was outstanding….right on the Kaweah River ! And a view of the mountains as well! 5 stars is not enough for this place ! Deserves 10 !!! The amenities were wonderful and plentiful ! If you are fortunate enough to stay here, do not forget to sit on the patio and stargaze !!! If you plan on visiting Sequoia National Park, you will be minutes from one of the main entrances ! The host , Srey, was one of THE best we have ever had !"

Wuksachi Lodge

"Wuksachi Lodge – Spectacular Setting, but Some Improvements Are Needed 🌲✨ Wuksachi Lodge is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Sequoia National Park, and the location is truly spectacular. There were definitely highlights to our stay. Dinner was wonderful, and the stargazing was absolutely incredible! Seeing the night sky surrounded by such magnificent natural beauty was an unforgettable experience. However, there are some areas that really need attention, particularly when it comes to accessibility and guest convenience. Getting our luggage from the parking area to our accommodations was surprisingly difficult. The uphill sidewalks have multiple switchbacks, making it challenging to maneuver luggage carts. To make matters worse, portions of the sidewalks are broken and uneven. We nearly lost our luggage off the cart several times trying to navigate these areas. The nighttime lighting was also inadequate, making those same walkways even more difficult to navigate after dark. This is not simply an inconvenience but a potential safety concern, particularly for guests with mobility limitations or heavy luggage. Our room itself was fairly basic and somewhat underwhelming compared with the spectacular surroundings. While we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, incredible stargazing, and natural beauty, the lodge would greatly benefit from improved walkways, better lighting, and easier luggage access. The setting is extraordinary, but the guest experience could be signi"
