"This was our second stay at this property. It is such an amazing place! Full kitchen with all the cookware and dining needs, comfortable beds, laundry, all in a cozy, quiet environment. We binged on Roku TV! We made an error in our reservation and contacted Larry on our way there. He made arrangements to accommodate us. He is a great host! Not many consider Northern Iowa for a vacation destination, but this is an oasis if you are looking to simply unwind from your daily grind."

"Our stay in Ventura was a great spot for us and some of our friends to get together and enjoy a weekend at the lake. We loved looking out at the lake from the covered patio and being able to walk across the road to fish, as well as up the road for ice cream at the Viking ;) The house was comfortable and we appreciated all of the yard games they had available to so we could enjoy a relaxing weekend with friends at the lake."

"We really enjoyed this beautiful place. Appreciated the dock and boat lift. The beach was disappointing as it was weedy and dirty and the deck and patio were dirty from the trees but we cleaned it up several times. Not much you can do about that. Trees needed the dead branches cut out which might have helped a little. The inside of the house was clean and very nice and supplies there were great. Windows really needed washing on the outside. Will stay here again."
