Orchard House sits on a hillside with spectacular views of the Lomond hills over the rooftops of the ancient and historic town of Auchtermuchty. With just a 40 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh and its central location in Fife it is the perfect to use as a base for exploring many Scottish tourist attractions.

Orchard House offers a lovely bright open plan living room on the first floor has large, vaulted ceilings with crystal chandeliers making it feel very spacious. Glass doors open out on to a balcony with views over the surrounding countryside. Downstairs there is a large kitchen/dining area with a dining table that extends to seat six, the kitchen is fully equipped with integrated dishwasher. The French doors open out on to a private patio area where you share the garden areas with guests from the other two holiday homes, Fieldview, and The Old Barn. There is a large grassy area which is ideal for football, badminton, or cricket and a small summer house to sit in on a cool day and shared barbecue for the warmer weather.



Auchtermuchty is a quiet village surrounded by beautiful countryside and has lots of activities happening close by. Edinburgh is just 40 minutes away where you can explore this stunning historic city. Closer to home and 8 minutes away you will find the charming historic village of Falkland, where you may recognise some of the picturesque, cobbled streets featured in the TV hit series, Outlander. A visit to the palace and gardens is highly recommended along with beautiful leisurely walks around the Falkland Estate. The Scottish Deer Centre and Fife Zoo are also within a short 10-minute drive.



Take a drive along the stunning Fife coastline passing some of the most picturesque fishing villages along the way as you head to St Andrews to play on some of the world’s most famous golf courses or visit the famous St Andrews University. There are plenty of lovely shops and restaurants in this gorgeous bustling town just 40 minutes away. The market town of Cupar where you will find plenty of local shops and cafés is 20 minutes away or head north to the city of Perth and can be reached in under half an hour. Beach 17 miles.
