The location was perfect for what we were looking for. A cabin close to the attractions, but away from the crowds. Mount Rushmore was awesome. The water falls near Spearfish were beautiful. The bison were out in abundance in Custer State Park. The scenic byways had great views. Had 2 different chuckwagon meals. Visited Deadwood and the Presidential Wax Museum and rode the 1880 Train.

Cozy cabin near Custer
Location is quiet and close to Custer and Custer State Park. We gave our stay at this rental just 3 stars for 2 reasons: 1) the unit did not have a working refrigerator which the owner knew to be the case before we arrived for our stay and 2) the coffee maker had moldy coffee grounds in it which made it unusable. There was also a sizable deposit for damages required up front which gave us cause for concern. A reduction or credit to the rental price and/ or a simple apology for the inconvenience would have softened our review.
My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a week on our honeymoon. They thought of everything we might need. There was even a hairdryer pots and pans, and coffee! The cabin was clean, and the bed very comfortable. We would stay at this cabin again.
