Spacious Log Home Retreat in the Heart of the Black Hills

Escape to our stunning log home, set on 5 picturesque acres in the breathtaking Black Hills. Just a short distance away from Pringle, Custer, Rapid City, and renowned attractions like Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, Wind Cave, and Hot Springs, our home offers a serene retreat for families, groups, and nature enthusiasts alike, surrounded by hundreds of acres of the Black Hills National Forest.Accommodation Features:

Open Floor Plan:
Enjoy a spacious layout featuring a loft with three sleeping areas separated by partial walls, no doors (please see our photos). Not for those that need absolute privacy. The sleeping arrangements include:2 King Beds, 2 Twin Beds, 2 Queen Pull-Out Couches on the main floor. Additional extra-large electric air mattresses available if needed.

Comfort & Entertainment:
The great room boasts a 70-inch Smart TV with Netflix for your viewing pleasure. A newly added outdoor sauna offers a unique relaxation experience. Kids will enjoy our coin-operated mechanical horse, while adults can relish indoor entertainment options, including:Pool Table, Foosball Table, Pinball Machine. Darts, Bean Bag Game. Bowling Machine, Internet access, computer, printer, and phone for your convenience,

Outdoor Bliss:
Multiple patios surround the house, equipped with comfortable seating to soak in the serene surroundings. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck off the main bedroom loft while watching deer roam—one evening, we counted 16 at once!

Cozy Ambiance:
The home features both a gas fireplace and a wood fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings. Firewood is provided. Bathrooms with showers are conveniently located in both the loft and on the main floor.

Fully Furnished:
Our cabin is equipped with everything you’ll need, including:Toaster, Coffee Maker, and Keurig. Full set of dishes and utensils,Towels, shampoo, soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and Kleenex. Washer and DryerHairdryer and curling iron in each bathroom. Dining room table that seats 8-10 and a breakfast bar for 2, Perfect for Every Occasion

For added convenience, we’ve left bicycles in the garage for those looking to explore the area or get some exercise, along with an air compressor in case any tires need air. This home caters to a variety of gatherings, including family get-togethers, corporate retreats, and base camps for vacationers, hunters, and bikers. We maintain a smoke-free environment, with smoking permitted on the patios. Enjoy our provided patio furniture and gas grill for delightful outdoor gatherings

We had the best time at the Jade Pines home! So much thought went into everything in the home. There were plenty of games for the children, as well as a sauna and relaxing patio areas for the adults. The area was also perfect for a nice bike ride with the kiddos! This is where we would love to stay next time we visit SD!

Quiet class cabin

We were pleasantly surprised how well stocked this property was. Every amenity was carefully thought of. We enjoyed the arcade games and sauna. The speedy WiFi is so nice with very limited cell service. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect vacation home for our family

This home has everything you could possibly need. All amenities you have at home are here. On top of that, it's a gorgeous location - deer sightings every morning and night, right outside the window! Very clean, cozy beds and close to everything! It was hard leaving this little slice of heaven we enjoyed for a week! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Quiet, comfortable and beautiful

My brother and I stayed at Jack Pines for 3 nights in Sept. 2023. We enjoyed the morning deer frolicking in the meadow and the big sky at night. On a clear night, you can see the Milky Way. It's a wonderful place to escape to. Highly recommend.

Delightful Home away from Home

We had a wonderful time at Jade Pines. The home was beautiful and provided more than we needed. Our three grandsons enjoyed playing corn hole and pool. The location to all we wanted to do was just perfect. It was a trip to remember. Just sitting outside with a hot cup of coffee and looking at that beautiful valley was so special.

Great place to stay!!

Great location short drive for most attractions, right next to Pringle and short drive to Custer. Property was exceptionally well stocked with everything from over the counter meds to laundry soap. Included firewood ready to go for fireplace a garage for our car with automatic door and opener provided. This is one of the best, most useful places we have stayed with our family of 6. Thank you!

Black Hills

We had an amazing experience at Jade Pines! The owners had the property in excellent shape and kids couldn’t have been happier with the pool table and darts. View was amazing and we had an excellent time at Wind Cave, Mt Rushmore, and Devils Tower. Thanks to the Zoss’ for the hospitality.

Cabin is great and the owners are awesome!

Pat and Susan took every opportunity to make their guests feel comfy, cozy, and welcomed in their beautiful cabin. We had some personal issues pop up, and they went out of their way not once but twice to accommodate us when they really didn’t have to. We highly recommend their place for an exceptional get away. We didn’t want to leave! We look forward to staying at Jade Pines again.

Beautiful Cabin

This was an amazing property! It was very clean and the kitchen counter tops were so pretty. It was nice to have a kitchen with all the amenities to cook. We had plenty beds to sleep everyone. My husbands favorite was the shower! We will definitely return at another time!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Jade Pines. We had 4 kids with us for this trip, ages 1,6,9 and 14. They didn’t want to leave, nor did we! This cabin was gorgeous, location was convenient and had plenty of things to keep the kids entertained. My husband and I were in love with all the extra touches that made this place feel like home. Everything was fantastic, we will definitely keep this place in mind when we visit the Black Hills again!

Fantastic stay

We had the most wonderful time at Jade Pines. It was the perfect stop for a few nights on our cross country trip. The kids loved the games and we all loved the peace and quiet. The amenities were all provided and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We will definitely share this gem of a place with anyone we know traveling to South Dakota. Jade Pines in June

We had a great stay at Jades Pines with ease of the process from start to finish. It was an excellent home base to explained the Black Hills. The cabin is beautiful on a serene setting. We enjoyed many games of pool and pinball. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The cabin was very clean. All in all, we had a great stay.
