"The hotel staff was very nice and polite. The hotel itself is worn. Carpets in entry way, halls and rooms are old and needs to be replaced. Furniture in our room is old, worn and needs to be replaced. Our air conditioner in our room couldn't keep the room cooled to what we had the thermostat set to. Dissapointed in this Hilton property. "

"The rooms were beyond awful. It looks like (based on the photos) that two people started to fix up this old motel and the one who was fixing it up quit and left halfway the project. We booked two rooms, for our family and my parents. Their room looked like an awful hospital room. Our floors were uneven, tiles in the bathroom were loose with glue remains next to it, open sockets with notes on it to not touch (luckily higher up so kids could't touch it). The property itself was nice and maintained. There is a little playground next to the pool and the grounds are great. If the hotel has fixed up rooms, they should not rent out to unfixed rooms. I think the photos do NOT match the actual rooms, so it was a dissappointment."

"Secluded lodging, close to Wimberly but far enough away for privacy. Hill country beauty and unimproved trails for walking."

"The staff answered my calls and questions immediately and efficiently. Beautiful scenery and a private-like getaway for our family. I HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem if your traveling to Wimberley or San Marcos, Texas. p.s take marshmellos , chocolate and graham crackers. You'll be glad you did."

"The bed was wonderful! The room was very clean. The toilet had an issue with flushing at times. The shower was great. Ac and heat worked great also. It was hot outside and then a cold front came in. We are looking at staying here again. "
