"Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. The place is calm and quiet but still very close to the main square and Dalai Lama Temple, so location is perfect. Mrs Sonia at the reception was very welcoming and kind, made us feel comfortable right from the start. Overall, a simple, peaceful stay with great views and good food. "

"I was physically attacked by the manager of this hotel. He became very aggressive when I offered to pay with an international card but he only accepts cash or UPI. When I wanted to get cash for him, he refrained me from taking by bags in the car. When I tried to leave, he grabbed me at the throat and scratched my arm. When I left one bag behind to get cash, he locked up the driver and took his keys and phone. Sunny, the manager, is a dangerous man and I warn you to stay away from the hotel.
