"Friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived at the parking. Our room (deluxe double room 2) was clean and comfortable. Our friends were in room 3 which had a pitched ceiling. Everything you could want was provided, including water, beer and soft drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine. All these were replenished. "Unique interior design, beautifully done. Very friendly and helpful staff. Late check out and my husband stayed in the (not open) bar lounge for the afternoon whilst I did some sightseeing, as he wasnt feeling great. Fantastic breakfast. We had a large room with an upstairs mezzanine bathroom (beware if you have mobility problems). Despite being in a busy location our room was very quiet. Pricey but truly a wonderful place for a weekend break."

"This hotel is set up like a bed and breakfast, and is in a beautiful historic building that is in a walkable location. There are no staff on site except at breakfast, so communication is restricted to the Expedia message center or the phone number provided by the location inside the front door. There is no elevator (which we knew), so take this into account if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage. The positives - Great location and only a few minute walk to Ghent center on mostly flat...

"An excellent apartment both in location and cleanliness. A small but very useful kitchen and good sized refrigerator made the stay very easy. Ghent is a city undergoing a lot of building and street rehabilitation so be prepared for the early morning construction sounds. However, the apartment is pretty quiet. A great choice."
