"I wanted to give this hotel a higher rating; it's cute and the staff were friendly. The rooms were small but comfortable. The reason I wouldn't recommend it is the noise. There is a restaurant upstairs, a separate business, that plays loud music late at night. And within the hotel, you can hear just about everything through walls or windows, even people talking in a normal tone of voice. So unless noise doesn't bother you, pick a different option. "

"Beautiful old colonial style hotel. Lovely staff and perfect location to explore and enjoy Casco Viejo on foot. Then can Uber or book tours to explore other sites in and around Panama City. "

"Everything was fantastic except the hot water situation. We stayed 5 days and only had hot water for two days. It was due to a broken pipe underneath the building. They worked hard to fix it, but even after the repairs, hot water was limited. Desk staff and especially Porter Angel really worked hard to make our stay enjoyable."

"The hotel is in a great location, close to many choices of restaurants and places of interest to see. The staff went out of their way to make the transition as soon as we landed as easy as it gets. Transportation from the airport, places to see, restaurants, even set us up with a private tour of the canal. We will definitely be coming back and this will be our choice of places to stay.
