"This hotel was under construction when we checked in . But the staffs were extremely helpful in everything. There is no elevator in the property but the staffs helped us carrying up & down our luggages . They even helped us loading our car . The rooms were very clean and the staffs made sure we had everything we need for our stay . Our special thanks goes to Mike & Amanda who made our stay very comfortable & memorable also ."

"Front desk person was very helpful. We arrived after 5:00 pm and not all of the rooms were available because they were short staffed. The rooms were very spacious but not well maintained. One of the cabinets in the kitchen had a door that had been broken. We reported it and they said they weren’t aware of the damage. Scary since they have our credit card on file in case of incidentals or damage. Carpet worn. Bedding wasn’t great but we were exhausted and slept well. Breakfast wasn’t served until 6 or 6:30 and our flights were at 5:00 so we weren’t able to try it. There was lots of space and the dining area looked clean."

"Convenient location and so useful to have laundry facilities though there were only two machines available so we did our load late Appreciated having the shuttle available to pick us up from the train depot as we arrived from Seward at 10:15 pm While I confirmed we were arriving at 10:15 I assumed they would pick us up soon after that time We finally called them around 10:40 to make sure shuttle knew to pick us up Shuttle arrived around 11 Driver asked if our train arrived late ( it arrived right on time) which made me think they were waiting for our call Next morning we had made arrangements to catch shuttle at 8:30 am to go to airport We were late (our fault and we didn’t call front desk to let them know we were running late ) shuttle was no longer available front desk said they called us multiple times and for some reason our phones never received their calls ( again not their fault and we apologized for that inconvenience) when my husband asked if they tried calling our room they said they couldn’t figure out which room we were in? Anyway not complaining at all as this was our bad but I would in the future always check with front desk the day before to confirm your shuttle and whether you need to call when you arrive or not"

"Was a very comfortable an convenient location to stay in. Centrally located and easy to get to. Close to restaurants (try Moose"s Tooth for pizza), shopping and the Seward Highway to go either North (Talkeetna to see "the mountain") or South (Turnigain Arm overlooks and Seward). Quiet neighborhood and a nice backyard area along side a creek. Overall bedrooms and living areas were comfortable and having a washer and dryer available was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay again. Host was responsive to questions and check in and check out were very easy."
