"The property is an old Holiday Inn with a filled in swimming pool inside. The room I had was clean nice and roomy . The bath had older fixtures that all worked well. The tv was a little small. The furniture had some bumps and scratches, two of the lamp lights did not work properly. It was a 2 and a half star facility at a very good price. My feeling is that they are refurbishing this facility incrementally and need to build a client base to help in the cash flow to bring it up to standard. No facecloths were supplied."

"I love this retro motel! The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained. I love that they kept the original tiles and vintage bathroom fixtures intact. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone. And you get a real KEY to the room. When was the last time you’ve seen that?"

"This lodge was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting the Coldwater/Protection area. The hosts were very welcoming, and I enjoyed getting to meet one of them. The lodge was cozy, and we enjoyed making dinner there and sitting around the table. Not having a TV was surprisingly refreshing :) and it gave us wonderful time to visit and play games! Our family enjoyed exploring outside too, and we saw a few different critters too. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back!"
