"I normally give good hotels a high rating but this place needs an above excellent star. The photos online simply do not do it justice. This was a last minute on our way to San Francisco hotel stay. Its a tight squeeze pulling into the parking but there was available on street parking.. Loved my room, hotel lush gardens, waterfalls, breakfast delivered to my room, balcony, sitting area. I could go on and on but suffice it to say I will be back. We could not book another night as they were full....

"We have stayed at the Lodge and Suites several times and have never been disappointed. We enjoy walking to the beach and even ventured as far as cannery row. You can always take a short drive to downtown Pacific Grove where there are plenty of dining options and an excellent small coffee/bookstore."

"We loved the property & our room was GREAT! Love the high ceiling, the room was large, the patio was nice and quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed the nice text msg from the staff and they even helped me with a local dinner recommendation! It was having a concierge on my phone without needing to CALL… I just texted them and they replied… I liked this form of communication and being engaged. We will be returning and looking forward to the same level of service "

"Booked a room last minute for reasonable price. Ideally located next to Asilomar and a short, pleasant walk to the Fishwife. Make sure to check in by 8:00 pm, we almost missed it. We would have enjoyed spending more time relaxing in and around the room, but we were helping to chaperone and drive a large group of high school kids who camped at Veteran's Park. I recommend this place if the price is right, and if you want to walk directly to beach or go bike riding. Aside from the Fishwife,...
