"Lovely cottage with serene garden backing onto the river. Host's were warm and welcoming. Convenient location with all essentials for a comfortable stay. This is a restored heritage building, not a modern build. Heaters kept the cottage cosy and warm. Bedding was very clean and comfortable with plenty of extra blankets at hand. A note for the minimalists out there - there were a lot of extra decorator cushions, overhead fabric, table runners and other fabric decor additions that you may find challenging. Free Wifi works but VPN required if you're concerned about security or sensitive data. Shower and water pressure were decent - very hot water for parents to consider. Parking is close but on a busy main road just outside the property entry. Managers Cottage is directly on the right as you enter through the main gates, at the bottom of a very steep driveway so if you're unsteady on foot be sure to request assistance or host permission to park directly outside the cottage to offload. Directly across the road is a well stocked AMPM fuel station selling all basics and hot food, ATM & car wash. KFC only 150m down the road. 450m in the other direction is local bakery, information centre and supermarket."

"Our Host was most welcoming, hospitable and friendly. He contacted us prior to our visit and always answered our enquiries promptly. The view and drive to the venue was breathtaking. We felt at home the moment we stepped out of the car. Our special dietaryneeds were met; nothing was any trouble. We enjoyed the warmth of a pot belly fire on the balcony. Breakfast was superb. Couldn't want for anything more."

"Lovely comfortable cosy cottage perfect for two with generous host extras. Set in beautiful gardens bordered by the Angas river. Lots of bird life and plenty to see and do in the historic town. Thoroughly recommend for an unique getaway."

"Had a wonderful stay at Mirrabooka, nice and cosy, stunning views, loved the breakfast provisions provided, loved listening to all the birds and the creek water running. The spa was so nice and relaxing. Could of layed there all day. We loved the fireplace aswell. Super warm and cosy. Close and convenient to lots of places. Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway. My partner and I loved it, it was the perfect birthday present for myself."
