"Our cabin has a pretty bad lean to it. You could set a water bottle down and it would roll to the front door. Made for a fun bathroom trip in the middle of the night. Tako is an interesting place. Good drinks but just not enough regular Mexican food choices to want to try. The hotel is up a pretty steep driveway so if you're not able to make the climb, make sure to take their free shuttle."

"Great location and a great value. I stayed here for four days with my two adult sons, and there was plenty of room for three adult guys. The location was excellent—only about 15 minutes from the Denali Visitor Center, which made getting into the park very convenient.Kelly was a great host and very responsive whenever I texted with a question. The trailer was a comfortable and practical home base for our Denali adventures. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, reasonably priced place near the park."

"What a gem! It’s nestled in the forest with spectacular views. Quiet, tranquil and a unique, warm, beautiful and inviting home. We used Denali Sunset House as our base as we explored the Denali area. The park entrance and the local business area is a short drive away. Every amenity you could imagine is available. Becky and Terry are fantastic hosts and kept in contact with us as our reservation approached. They provided detailed information of the area and several recommendations for activities and dining. We took advantage of several of those recommendations and were never disappointed. Sunset house has a great layout, and easily accommodated our family. It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to enjoy this kind of quiet. We would love to return to Denali and have the opportunity to enjoy Sunset House for a longer stay. I would close by saying that we had visited Denali a few years ago and stayed in one of the major hotels here. Hands down, this (Denali Sunset House) is the way to go!"

"The cabin offered one of the most incredible views to come home to, and a taste of backcountry living as described by the listing. Amenities were set up for comfort despite the off the grid location. Everything we needed we had, while getting to experience a taste of Alaskan living. 10/10!! I recommend this for any sightseers or those who love the outdoors. It was part of a really beautiful neighborhood and Becky was a wonderful host :)"

"Rebecca at the front desk was extremely helpful. After being on the road for a week, we were Grateful to have a guest laundry available. There is also a microwave in the laundry room which came in handy to reheat pizza."
