"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."

"De passage pour une nuit en raisons professionnelles, j’ai été très surpris par l’accueil du personnel, sans suis d’un dîner exceptionnel que ce soit du service en passant par la présentation des plats ainsi que par le côté gustatives des plats. Tout cela dans une très belle salle!!! Ensuite arriver dans la chambre c’est pareil, tout est très soignée il y a énormément de détails on s’y sent bien ! Vraiment un hôtel qui tire son épingle du jeu"

"Je n'ai passé qu'un soir et une nuit; pas assez pour juger la prestation en détail. Petit déjeuner copieux (y compris jus d'orange fraichement pressé, oeufs à cuire selon goût (à la coque, mollet, dur); chambre correct, même si tout seul je n'avais pas besoin de trois lits; dîner bon, mais n'avais rien de médiéval. Equipement dans la SdB: un peu spartiate: pas de tapis de SdB, pas de savon (shampooing juste dans la douche)"

"Hotel has great location and pleasant rooms with A/C. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The main challenge for me was the elevator, there is a single elevator for the whole hotel that serves 4 levels. We had often to climb by stairs four levels as it was busy or broken in the last night. Team however took care of luggage. Vallet service for the car was flawless as well as restaurant reservations. Breakfast was great, we have enjoyed it a lot. Last comment is about the cost which was pretty high, would recommend to compare before booking. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Very clean room - nice river view. Staff was super helpful. Breakfast options were nice - pretty decent for a day start. Hotel is well within walking distance to a lot of sights to see - and is also very conveniently located close to metro stops for additional transportation options."

"This is a clean and convenient no frills budget hotel. It suited us fine for a night in Lyon with an early train the next day. Beds were comfortable. Bedding was nice quality. Shower was good. Reception was pleasant and efficient. Room was compact. No tea or coffee facilities. Everything was clean - corridor carpets a bit grubby. Very close to the station but no train noise in our room. Decent value for a big city. Absolutely fine for a short stay"

"The staff at this hotel was particularly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was also great- just to the north of old Lyon, right along the river and an easy walk to most of the sites. The lobby and bar/restaurant area had a very fresh and recently renovated look and was a pleasure to walk through every day. The room itself was a bit dated but large and comfortable. Would definitely recommend."

"Our room was great, with a separate sitting/kitchen area so we could put our baby to sleep and still spend time talking. We had an air-conditioned room and could not imagine having a room without during the heatwave in Lyon. They had the air con running for us and the crib already set up before we got there which was amazing. My only complaint is the shower, no matter how I had the shower curtain positioned, water covered the floors of the bathroom."
