Kitchen and living room had a layer of saw dust. They had some work done and the house wasn’t cleaned after the work was completed. We were told that someone would come and clean the house, but no one showed up. We had to wipe down the furniture before we sat on it to get the layer of saw dust off of it. The lawn needed to be mowed too. The party lights on the back area was laying on the ground. My husband actually hung them back up. Half of the lights didn’t work. The beds slept comfortably and everything we needed was provided. I was able to take my dogs which was very accommodating for them. They even furnished dog bowls for my pups. WiFi information provided on the counter was incorrect.

As a mom, who wanted a weekend away with her best friend, and our kiddos, we were looking for somewhere, safe and kid friendly with a hot tub to be able to enjoy once the kids were asleep. The listing showed there to be a hot tub, it was the first amenity listed. My best friend arrived before me and told me that unless it was invisible, then there was not a hot tub not even a jetted tub that could be mistaken for a hot tub. I thought maybe there was a covered section in the backyard or something she missed. When my children and I arrived, my best friend showed me a picture of her daughters feet, keep in mind we each have a toddler who hates socks, her feet were black, as were mine and my children’s the first little bit of arriving. Almost like the floors were swept, but not cleaned after the last guest. I inspected the property to find a hot tub and found nothing, I messaged the owner and received a prompt response that they, in fact, did not have a hot tub and were not sure why it was listed that way. We let the owner know of our other concerns, and the owner was more than willing to go above and beyond to send somebody to clean for us. If we would allow, she offered to bring us propane for the grill, and or firewood for the fire pit, which is not otherwise provided by this property owner. The owner was willing to refund us for the whole trip but we compromised on 1 night refund and are overall feeling neutral about the experience as a whole.

Love this house

My family and I stayed for a week during Thanksgiving. This house was perfect for our needs. We were able to bring our dogs which was so nice. This is the cutest house. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Denison Getaway

We rented this house for a visit with family in the area. It was perfect! Very nice and well maintained home within a short drive to the downtown Denison restaurants, shops, etc. the property management was very friendly and responsive to any questions. We will absolutely be back!

Clean, New and Very Responsive

This property appears brand new and was exactly as described on the site. There was a mix up on the place getting cleaned but they had someone there within minutes cleaning the place top to bottom. We were planning to head out anyway so it wasn’t an inconvenience. We stayed there and attended a concert at Durant Choctaw Casino and it was only about a 20 min drive. Very friendly managers - We would stay here again!

More than it looks like

The property was very nice, clean and bright. Plenty of towels and linens and enough beds for 8 people. Outside is quaint and seems small but it’s much bigger than it looks and laid out very well inside. We had no issues and would not hesitate to stay again. Loved having puzzles and games for the kids and laundry room including detergent.

Relaxing, clean, & amazing beds!!

We stayed for only 1 night while visiting local friends, but my oh my how I wish we could have stayed longer! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we’ve slept on in a long time!! So much so, I went home and bought a new mattress for our bed and pillows for all the beds in our house. Property is very clean and spacious. Lots of games for the kids and room for them to play while adults can converse or play their own games in the other room. House is also equipped for cooking, going to lake, or having fun indoors. Loved that the owners left a small binder of recommendations and helpful information. Great touch! Location wise, you are close to pretty much anything in Denison! Property owners were very easy to talk with and responded promptly every time we messaged whether it be before, during or after the trip. We will keep this house at the top of our list for any time we are in the area.
