Nice family holiday spot with plenty of room for the kids to run around Only downside Would of been the bed in the main room was a bit too hard for my liking and also it would’ve been nice if it was a king size bed But we will be back :)

Nice cosy place neat the beach and forest

Enjoyed it as usual, have been there many times. We like to go to the beach and local wineries and go to the local hotels for dinner.

Beautiful spot, beautiful accommodation

Our cottage was beautiful inside and out, and lovingly and comfortably furnished, with all amenities modern and fully functional despite the rustic feel. The bush block location made us feel like we were living in nature, surrounded by wildflowers, with visits from black cockatoos and many other birds (though sadly we didn't see the kangaroos during our stay). Perfect!

Cottages were very clean and comfortable. The day we arrived was cold and windy and the owner had very thoughtfully lit the fire for us. Very peaceful location like a home away from home. Wish all accommodation was as good as this.

Quiet and Convenient

Caddyvale cottages are located in bushland close to the town centre and were easy to find. After making our way to the house/office for check in we were shown to our unit which was comfortable and quite well appointed although we thought it a bit odd that one main bedroom with ensuite was locked as to us it would have made more sense to give us this room being a couple. However there was more room than we needed and everything was supplied, linen, kitchen supplies etc. It was cold so we lit a fire which made the house warm and cozy. The bed was quite comfortable and the place was quiet.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed a weekend at Caddyvale while visiting family nearby. The cottages are convenient to town but set apart from each other on a lovely bush block and have a rustic feel. Sundew can accommodate a family but its open plan living area is also great for a couple to relax in. The kitchen is equipped with the basics for simple meal preparation. A combustion wood burner is the sole source of heating but can be kept burning all night. We were delighted to find it glowing warmly when we arrived late on a chilly afternoon. The owner keeps the woodbox just outside the door well stocked. Warm comfortable bed. Bird sounds. Recommended for a low key, kick back weekend. Aileen

Rural retreat!

A real welcome to find the cabin after a long & wet journey! The log stove was soon ablaze (pre-primed with tinder - thank you). This we managed to keep alight the whole of the of our 3 night stay. The water was hot for the two of us in the 6 berth cabin. The queen bed was very comfortable and snug too. I would stress following the directions closely as in the dark we shot right by the sign to the entrance! In all a great time was had.

We really enjoyed the opportunity to paint and read outside and enjoy the fire on chilly evenings. Cooking in the chalet worked very well. The location was private yet very convenient.

Bushland retreat

Well appointed cottage (Crowea) in a bushland setting, only a 5 min drive (or longer walk/cycle along a dedicated pathway) to the centre of Denmark. My only criticisms would be that there is no washing machine and the turning circle for the driveway is tight (requiring a three-point turn) for medium- to SUV-sized vehicles. Otherwise, an excellent place to be based for a few days or a few weeks.
