Lovely hotel, the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, they all seemed to be happy working there Breakfast was varied and delicious and it was lovely to have a cappuccino brought to our table every morning The room was clean and modern with interesting artwork We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!!

Artotel is in an excellent location and its rooms are well equipped and comfortable. Its restaurant is very good and restaurant and cleaning staff are fantastic. But the same cannot be said for its management and reception staff. Their dealings with us were often clumsy and at times offensive. At check in my partner and I (we are in our mid-‘60s) the reception staff person were told, with emphasis, that we were not permitted to bring a ‘guest’ back to our room. We also had difficulty with storing an oversized item in storage, with charging food and beverages to our room (despite providing a credit card number and sizeable deposit at check in) and a late check out. On check out, we were told a late check out might be possible but to ask again the day before our check out. Two days later we were told a late check out was possible, to be later told it was available but only if we paid for an additional night. We were then told we could have our room for two additional hours but for more than $30 AUD per hour. The day before checking out we told reception we would like to accept that offer (although we were not especially happy with it), but were told that late check out was not available! We then had to rush to make alternative arrangements for our last day in Bali. We have stayed in numerous hotels in Bali since first visiting the island in 1986 and have never previously had such experiences. Bali is a relaxed and relaxing place to visit, but not staying at Artotel.

This is an amazing hotel! From the staff, to the ever changing delicious breakfast buffet every morning, to the large spacious modern room. Everything was perfect! Area is very walkable, close to shops, restaurants and just minutes from the beach. Would highly recommend!

Clean hotel in the heart of Sanur. Wonderful staff, comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet. Close to restaurants. Arranged an airport shuttle for us and took that worry away. We wish we had stayed in Sanur longer.

Very interesting hotel

Nice hotel, exceptional service. Food for both lunch and dinner was very good. Nice breakfast but chaotic, not enough tables, staff serve coffee, which means you wait and only one man on the egg station. Roof top bar and pool are great. Art work round the hotel is interesting. Disappointed we got a room on the ground floor with balcony which looked onto a brick wall.

Hotel is well located. About 3-5 min walk from the beach. Very comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again if in Sanur area. Got the room facing the main road so it was a little noisy sometimes from the car horning but other than that perfect place to stay.
