Hollywood Casino & Hotel Columbus

"The casino just opened recently next to the casino. The rooms are extremely clean and bright. The decor is very modern. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was well laid out and even had a make-up mirror which most hotels don't even think of. All of the staff were professional and very personable. A very delightful stay."

"The hotel is fabulous but is really big. When I arrived, I had no idea where to park and ended up parking too far away. When I got to the desk to check-in. I asked for a closer parking and was advised of one, but when I checked out a gentleman in front of me was handed a map upon checking in, Why didn't I get a map? So the level of customer service of the front desk attendees varies! Hotel is very clean and plenty of food options."

"Check in was OK- I did have slight issue of the actual room I booked not being available, however they did get us a room. So I’m ok with that. We ended up on the second floor 225. Very nice. Bed was great very comfortable. No issues there like other reviews. The room was super clean. In fact I usually bring and then change the sheets and blankets out and here I felt comfortable not doing that. Big deal for me. I liked the room set up with the shower and toilet separated. I loved the shower ! Nice hot water and good pressure. The pool area could have been cleaner honestly the water was a bit sus. Warm though ! All in all it was great. I did have a cold and hot sleep. Controlling the room temp was a bit difficult. I was sweaty and then cold. Finally settled on 69 degrees. Front desk staff wasn’t there on check out but I turned in my keys and received my email about 2 hours later with my bill. No surprises. Thankfully. 4 bucks a night for parking is fine by me. No issues in the lot either. Car was fine. Area was great. We actually walked to canes at about midnight for food."

"We arrived on Friday and the water was turned off. The repairs were done but the water was not working. When we left the property at 6 pm it still was not working. When we returned later it was on. Our room was never cleaned on Saturday. We returned to the hotel at 4pm and it was not done. We were ok with towels so we did not call the front desk to report that our room was not cleaned."
