Sterling Shores is under renovation for a beautification project in which they are working on all balconies and walkways to the condos. Due to this beautification process, one pool closest to the building may close in November very briefly. No other amenities will be affected. Renovations are currently in progress Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The renovation is set to be finished by 1/29/2026. If bad weather interferes with the beautification process, renovations could continue into February. If there are any updates, I will let you know. We have blocked down the units that are primarily affected by this construction. June-Labor Day is painting the exterior and should not cause much of a disturbance. After Labor Day, you may experience floor grinding noise and dust. We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope you enjoy your stay!

WHAT’S NEARBY
Sterling Shores is located off Highway 98, just a short walk from several beach dining experiences including the Pancakery and the Back Porch. If you need to fill your fridge or pick up some extra supplies, this complex is just down the road from grocery and big box stores. For refreshing, all-ages fun, race go-karts at the Track, only a mile away, or check out the water slides at Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, two miles up the road. And if you're looking to hit the links, the fabulous Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club, is just a mile north.

THINGS TO KNOW
Construction is 8-5, 7 days a week. Beginning Monday, October 20, 2025, the Lagoon Pool will be closed for approximately 3 weeks to have it resurfaced. We are hopeful to have it back up and running by November 10, 2025. Full kitchen with dishwasher, Free WiFi, Central air conditioning, Elevator in the building, Snowbird-friendly. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
