"What a wonderful place to stay. A very well equipped home from home. There was nothing we needed as everything had been provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable, we only used the 3rd floor king and the queen sized rooms. Homaira was very attentive before our stay and during, in case we required anything. The village has a wonderful patisserie, a shop as well as a boulangerie. Although we were on a road, we didn't really hear the farm machinery and few cars at night. The Abbey and grounds...

"Het was een fijn huis om te verblijven! Heel compleet. Echt in het binnenland van Normandië. In de buurt wel leuke activiteiten voor kinderen te doen. Maar voor het bezoeken van de kust moet je wel een eind rijden. De beek bij het huis is heerlijk rustig. Genoeg plekjes om lekker buiten te zitten. De keuken is wel boven, dus als je buiten wilt eten, moet je alles mee naar beneden nemen. Al met al positief! "

"Our stay was quite nice. The grounds were park-like, it was pitch black at night and completely quiet. The house was lovingly decorated and the kitchen was well-appointed. There were only a few minor problems. For example, there were no folding luggage supports. Light in downstairs bathroom to dim to shave by. Wished for modernized recycling instructions & an option for composting. The smallest sink in the world in the upstairs bath. Memory foam mattresses. Great stay, overall."

"BonjourAlors le gîte il y a ce qu'il faut draps fournis serviettes etc...La salle de bain est un peu petite.. Par contre je suis amoureuse de la nature les coqs les vaches etc ok mais l'odeur de purin juste à côté du gîte 50m même pas une étable qui n'est gênante par elle même mais la fosse qui recueil les bouses à ciel ouvert quand il fait chaud c'est pas cool impossible de dormir les fenêtres ouvertes non seulement l'odeur mais beaucoup de mouches.. Le cadre est joli et merci pour les prunes "

"Very welcoming host, house was comfortable and well equipped, nice outdoor seating in the garden with fresh herbs and fruit trees (other side of the house is are electricity high voltage wires ...). Location is bit remote but the surrounding countryside is spectacular."
