"We had a comfortable stay and it is an easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. We received complimentary drinks that we used at a neighbouring pub and as we don’t drink they gave us Coca Cola and a hot chocolate. Staff at the Quest also gave us a large umbrella each to use as it was raining when we arrived. Comfy room and easy access and very central."

"Could not fault this place at such a reasonable price. Clean, comfortable, well equiped and friendly Reception service. Very much looking forward to our next stay here."

"Fantastic"

"Beautifully updated 1857 property. Decor and meals perfect. Probably the best hotel we have stayed in."

"From the moment we walked into our room I absolutely hated it. It had such a bad smell, room wasn’t clean. It’s very old and outdated and the beds are horrible. You can feel the springs in the mattress.. avoid this place!"

"The staff were great to deal with and able to extend our stay the day before we arrived. The location was good with easy access and safe parking The room was spacious with a comfortable clean bed and large fridge freezer. The bathroom was also spacious with a roomy shower with abundant hot water and pressure. The fittings in the bathroom were shonky with the roll holder falling off along with a towel rail, these could be easily fixed. We would stay again."

"Pretty consistent over the times I have stayed. Great property which is located not too far from the main city."

"the free wifi didn't work ! very frustrating...don't advertise free wifi when it doesn't work"

"The property did not have Wi-Fi. I asked about this at the reception and they said they have it on repair request but unlikely it will be resolved before Christmas. I understand properties have to undergo maintenance, but there was no mention of this whatsoever during our booking, and I wanted to work remotely during our stay which was challenging without the Wi-Fi. Other than that, the rooms were quite clean, well maintained and the facilities were overall in good shape."

"Good, the swimming pool was very nice and worm."

"Whilst this property offers superior value for money (room size, location, facilities), there are silly niggles. For example, I was there for four nights but they do not refresh tea/coffee/sugar/milk. They refresh towels and empty bins but do not make the bed. Used cups and glasses are taken away but not replaced. I would recommemnd this property to business travellers but would ask the management to consider these minor issues for longer term stayers."

"TV, microwave and kettle/toaster nice. Lights for some reason had no covers on them, too bright to leave on without the covers. Ended up finding them in the cupboard, carpet was a little sticky. Room wasnt available until a little after 2. Parking was limited car park was all filled up when we arrived back to hotel no where to park. We ended up leaving at 1130 pm to go back home. Would be suitable for couples or singles only staying a little while. Didnt suit us a family."

"A fantastic room, clean, cozy and warm. Free laundry too. Very much appreciated."

"Great staff clesn quite room"
