"A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred...

"At check-in, there was no salutation. I was never asked for ID or who I was. They led me straight to my room. This raises serious security concerns. The pipework under the sink was non-existent. So I had to deploy a bucket to collect waste water and avoid spillage in the room. "My third time staying here. I come to Uganda for a charity - so on a budget. Also staying by myself. I travel out each week day to work and spend evenings and weekends here. I like the Wagga because of the large garden it. You have a feeling of space. It feels safe. It is quiet at night. The WiFi isn't brilliant but OK. The staff take good care of me. But there can be very noisy weddings at weekends. The restaurant is limited and the coffee lousy. There are no leisure facilities like a pool or gym. This time I had to pay cash for my meals/laundry on check out (before I used a card)."
